  • Publication number: 20230393768
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods provides for technology that identifies transmission priorities for a plurality of streamed data sources. The transmission priorities indicate a transmission order associated with the plurality of streamed data sources. The technology further generates a first permutation that is a first assignment of the plurality of streamed data sources to a plurality of transmitters for transmission, generates a first prediction of whether data from the plurality of streamed data sources will need to be stored prior to transmission based on the first permutation, the transmission priorities and bandwidths of the plurality of transmitters. The technology further generates a first allocation of storage space sizes that the plurality of streamed data sources will need based on the first permutation and the first prediction.

  • Patent number: 11489778
Abstract: A system controls a transmission of data. A sensor datum measured by a sensor is received. Whether to send the received sensor datum to a multiplexer is determined based on a predefined real time download rate. When the determination indicates to send the received sensor datum to the multiplexer, the received sensor datum is sent to the multiplexer. When the determination does not indicate to send the received sensor datum to the multiplexer, the received sensor datum is written to a data file. The written sensor datum is sent from the data file to the multiplexer when there is an indicator of excess available bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20220299346
Abstract: A method for reducing thermal induced error in real-time for a sensor in a region of interest. The method includes receiving at least one data point from a temperature sensor, the temperature sensor configured to determine temperature for the sensor of interest. The method includes receiving at least one data point from the sensor, the sensor having thermal sensitivity and offset shift for a given temperature range. The method includes determining at least three percentage change coefficients for thermal sensitivity. The method includes determining at least three percentage change coefficients for thermal zero offset. The method includes calculating real-time thermal error reduction.

  • Publication number: 20220229703
Abstract: A system selects a telemetry allocation for the transmission of data from multiple transmitters. An allocation matrix defines a split ratio for data generated by a data source that is split between transmitters. The split ratio is defined for each data source of a plurality of data sources. (A) A storage buffer model is executed based on the allocation matrix to simulate a buffer that stores data from each data source that exceeds a download bandwidth value. (B) Performance parameter values are stored in association with the allocation matrix. (C) The allocation matrix is updated to redefine at least one split ratio. (D) (A) through (C) is repeated with the allocation matrix replaced with the updated allocation matrix until each unique permutation of values for the split ratio is processed. An allocation matrix is selected from allocation matrices stored in (B) based on the plurality of performance parameter values.

  • Patent number: 10694148
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing improved navigation performance in which camera images are matched (using correlation) against reference images available from a geolocation-tagged database. An image-based navigation system partitions the camera image (corresponding to the area within the field-of-view of the camera) into a plurality of camera sub-images (corresponding to regions in that area), and then further partitions each camera sub-image into a multiplicity of tiles (corresponding to sub-regions within a region). The partitioning into camera sub-images seeks geometric diversity in the landscape. Each tile is checked for quality assurance, including feature richness, before correlation is attempted. The correlation results are further quality-checked/controlled before the results are used by the Kalman filter to generate corrections for use by the inertial navigation system.

  • Patent number: 10693495
Abstract: A method includes generating data at a first device. The method includes determining one or more parameters corresponding to a statistical distribution of values based on the data. The method includes encoding the data based on a frequency-based code that is based on the statistical distribution to generate compressed data. The method further includes sending the one or more parameters and the compressed data from the first device to the second device.

  • Patent number: 10404266
Abstract: A method includes receiving a first cycle of an original cyclic signal. One or more cyclic parameters of the first cycle of the original cyclic signal are estimated. The original cyclic signal is predicted in counts, based at least partially upon the one or more cyclic parameters and one or more sensor parameters, to produce a predicted cyclic signal that corresponds to the original cyclic signal. The predicted cyclic signal includes biased, dual-state, differential pulse-code modulation (DPCM) data. A second cycle of the original cyclic signal is predicted based upon the predicted cyclic signal.

  • Patent number: 9276599
Abstract: A method and apparatus for converting an analog input into a final digital output. A first digital output is generated in response to receiving an analog input at a first converter. A second digital output is generated in response to receiving the analog input at a second converter. The first digital output is output to form the final digital output when an amplitude of the analog input is within a first portion of an overall range of amplitudes for the analog input and the second digital output is output to form the final digital output when the amplitude is within a second portion of the overall range of amplitudes.
