  • Patent number: 11959245
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an injectable tie back cover for waterproofing, apparatus, and a method of using same. The invention encompasses a substantially domed shaped structure having at least one surface along the domed shaped structure, and having an edge flanged surface which is placed over a tieback head, and where the injectable tieback cover is used as a waterproofing apparatus. A supplemental injectable tubing can also be provided around the outside of the substantially domed shaped structure, which injectable tubing can be injected with a secondary waterproofing material to provide additional waterproofing to the area around the injectable tie back cover facing the concrete or shotcrete. The domed shaped structure can also have at least one dome channel to accommodate at least one injectable tieback cover tubing. The invention also provides a method of using the inventive injectable tie back cover for waterproofing structures.

  • Patent number: 11560687
Abstract: The present invention relates to a below grade, blind side, improved dual waterproofing membrane assembly incorporating a secondary membrane comprising of a bentonite sheet waterproofing layer, and a primary membrane comprising of a sheet membrane having an adhesive to fully bond to a concrete/shotcrete. The invention encompasses a dual layer or dual membrane system that acts as a barrier, and prevents, and blocks water and moisture, from passing from one side of the structure to the other side. The dual barrier layer system can be used along a wall, a floor, a ceiling, or along any structure which requires water or moisture proofing. The invention can be used between a concrete or shotcrete layer and the surrounding earth, such as, along an area that has a high water table, or a constant hydrostatic pressure, or high ground moisture, that may creep into a foundation or a wall.

  • Publication number: 20220243460
Abstract: The invention relates to a below grade, blind side, waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive and quartzeral granular particle layer, and having a top release liner, and a bottom release liner, enhancing bond strength between sheets, and be able to fully bond to concrete/shotcrete, and a method of making, and using same. The inventive waterproofing sheet membrane with adhesive, has at least one layer of quartzeral granular particle layer that are fully or partly embedded into the adhesive layer, and where the average reflectivity of the exposed granular particles is between about 30 percent to 80 percent reflectivity on a standard reflectivity scale. The quartzeral sand or granular particles are hydrophobic, and any moisture or water can be easily removed from its surface. Even a wet quartzeral surface allows an adhesion or bonding of an adhesive to the quartzeral surface.
