Abstract: A system and apparatus for automated medication dispensing are disclosed herein. The system includes a management platform residing on a server and an apparatus in communication with the management platform. The apparatus includes a body, a user interface screen on the body, a processor, a memory, a motor driven rotation carousel plate, universal caps, funnels, a vacuum extraction mechanism, a magnetic resonance agitator, a verification station, a scale-equipped platform, and a dispensing cup.

Abstract: A system, device and method to assist users with taking their prescription medications, vitamins, insulin (alert only) and over the counter drugs are disclosed herein. The present invention assists the user with (including but not limited to): organizing their pills, taking their medication on time, taking the proper dosage of medication, providing warnings to avoid multiple/duplicative dosages, provide reminders to the user to take their medication on time, or remind them if they forgot to take their medication, and provide information regarding side effects of the medication and alert the user to dangers/risks of taking conflicting medications. The device preferably dispenses medication automatically based on pre-defined scripts and algorithms.
