Publication number: 20170103078Abstract: The present invention provides copybook flat data conversion with inline transformation. Specifically, a streaming intermediary formatted data message is generated as a result of converting/transforming a flat file format (non-XML (Extensible Markup Language) format), such as raw fixed-length field COBOL (Common Business-Oriented Language) copybook format or the like. The streaming intermediary format is not fully held in memory, but rather is directly transformed/converted, using XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) processing, into a target format, such as structured XML or the like. By directly streaming the intermediary format to the XSLT process without holding the entire data message in memory, the present invention utilizes less memory and, as such, less memory is needed to be reclaimed.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2015Publication date: April 13, 2017Inventors: Jonathan Roger Greenblatt, Sundar R. Publication number: 20170103113Abstract: The present invention provides for inline/parallel processing of data messages, specifically data response messages, to both transform and parse the data in one single pass. Parsing includes extracting common data elements (such as, error codes, fault codes, status codes and the like) from the message and deleting generic headers from the messages. In specific embodiments of the invention, the parallel processing of the present invention is made possible by implementation of a SAX parser. In such embodiments of the invention, the SAX parser implements a single filter to both transform and parse the data response messages simultaneously.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2015Publication date: April 13, 2017Inventors: Jonathan Roger Greenblatt, Sundar R. Patent number: 8824833Abstract: Systems and methods for image data fusion include providing first and second sets of image data corresponding to an imaged first and second scene respectively. The scenes at least partially overlap in an overlap region, defining a first collection of overlap image data as part of the first set of image data, and a second collection of overlap image data as part of the second set of image data. The second collection of overlap image data is represented as a plurality of image data subsets such that each of the subsets is based on at least one characteristic of the second collection, and each subset spans the overlap region. A fused set of image data is produced by an image processor, by modifying the first collection of overlap image data based on at least a selected one of, but less than all of, the image data subsets.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2009Date of Patent: September 2, 2014Assignee: OmniVision Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Joseph C. Patent number: 8196979Abstract: A bumper system includes an injection molded energy absorber of polymeric material having hollow longitudinally-spaced lobes configured to crush and absorb energy during a pedestrian impact, and straps interconnecting adjacent lobes. The lobes are particularly sized and dimensioned, including potentially external ribs and/or apertures in corners, to provide a relatively uniform impact energy absorption during an impact stroke during crush of the shear walls of the lobes, such as within +/?30% or more preferably within +/?20% of a desired amount regardless of a specific location of impact, along a selected center portion of the energy absorber. A reason for the uniformity is to promote pedestrian safety regardless of the specific location where a pedestrian's leg strikes the energy absorber.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2010Date of Patent: June 12, 2012Assignees: Shape Corp., Volkswagen AktiengesellschaftInventors: Daniel Ralston, Vidya Revankar, Amit Ashok Kulkarni, Darin Evans, Olaf Insel, Yassine Ghozzi, Alexander Besch, Oliver Knoke, Ngoc-Dang Nguyen
