  • Publication number: 20200155053
Abstract: A method and a system for monitoring and training attention real-time attentional bias by applying at least one sensory stimulus over a human subject, using at least one stimulation device, where the sensory stimuli is associated with at least one attentional bias; calculating at least one real-time attention bias score of the subject by measuring response of the subject to the respective applied sensory stimulus; and outputting attentional feedback in real-time indicative of the calculated real-time attentional bias score. The feedback is outputted in real-time or near real-time, using one or more output devices for outputting the attention feedback such as visual or auditory output devices.

  • Publication number: 20150104771
Abstract: A method and a system for monitoring and training attention allocation by applying at least one sensory stimulus over a human subject, using at least one stimulation device, where the sensory stimuli is associated with at least one attentional bias; measuring at least one attention allocation index of the subject by measuring response of the subject to the respective applied sensory stimulus; and outputting an attentional feedback indicative of the measured attention allocation indices. The feedback is outputted in real time or near real time, using one or more output devices for outputting the attention allocation feedback such as visual or auditory output devices.

  • Publication number: 20140153416
Abstract: Embodiments of a wireless communication station and methods for reducing data starvation are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a wireless communications station passes data packets stored in a buffer to a higher-level medium access control (MAC) process, in sequential order based on a sequence number (SN) subfield of the data packets. A watchdog timer is activated upon encountering a missing data packet during the passing. Upon expiration of the watchdog timer, the wireless communication station transmits a delete block acknowledgment (DELBA) frame to terminate a block acknowledgment (ACK) agreement with an originator of the data packets.

  • Publication number: 20080112346
Abstract: Embodiments of a wireless device and methods for reducing period scans using motion diction are generally described herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed. In some embodiments, a wireless device determines whether or not to refrain from performing periodic scanning based on one or more motion indicators determined from measured signal levels received from a currently associated access point. In some embodiments, a wireless device determines whether or not to refrain from performing periodic scanning based on a rate-of-change of received signal strength indicators (RSSIs) of beacon frames received from a currently associated access point.
