    Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of bioassay for detecting the effective concentration of Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF), and estimating ED50 and specific activity of G-CSF using a human acute myeloid cell line. The invention also relates to use of this technique for estimating the potency of G-CSF samples during various stages of a purification process.
