  • Patent number: 12112202
Abstract: A system and method for evaluating optimization of a hardware engine are described herein. In an example embodiment, a first operation of a desired application is performed using one or more hardware resources each associated with one or more task graphs of a plurality of task graphs. A first result is recorded from a first simulation based on a first task graph of the plurality of task graphs implemented using a first configuration of a first hardware resource associated with the first task graph. A second result is recorded from a second simulation based on a second task graph of the plurality of task graphs implemented using a second configuration of a second hardware resource associated with the second task graph. An interface is generated based on the first result and the second result for rendering by a display device.

  • Publication number: 20240302956
Abstract: An electronic device includes a user interface configured to display content and receive user input. One or more processors operable with the user interface cause the user interface to display a virtual keyboard that includes a first section having a first plurality of virtual keys corresponding to a plurality of alphabetic characters and a second section having a second plurality of virtual keys corresponding to a plurality of special characters. The first section and the second section are separated by a translatable slider. The translatable slider can be manipulated, manually or automatically, to increase the area occupied by the first section, thereby revealing more virtual keys corresponding to more alphabetic characters, or alternatively to increase the area occupied by the second section to reveal more virtual keys corresponding to more special characters.

  • Patent number: 12076266
Abstract: A urine removal device includes a plurality of layers suitable to capture and transfer urine. A conduit system is disposed inside of the device and extends from the proximal portion of the device, where it interfaces via an outlet conduit member, to the distal end of the device where it draws in urine from the device. The device allows air flow through the device to support suction that is applied. The fluid layer system has at least one conduit configured to draw urine from the distal portion of the device up to the proximal end of the device, and into the outlet conduit where it exits the urine removal device.

  • Publication number: 20240264742
Abstract: A method of managing a memory system is described, the memory system having a processor with a client interface, a buffer memory, and a storage memory. A LUN (logical unit) is exposed to the client, the LUN having a memory size, and QoS specification. When the processor receives a command from the client to write data to the LUN, determining if the QoS specification includes deduplication and: if the QoS does not include deduplication, processing the command by storing the data in the storage memory and creating metadata uniquely referencing a storage location of the data that is written; or if the QoS includes deduplication, determine if deduplication is possible while meeting a latency value as specified in the QoS specification and performing deduplication.

  • Publication number: 20240236421
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for tailoring related episode content within an episode, thereby improving a user's experience. In response to receiving a request for an episode, several factors may be considered when determining how much of the related episode content to provide. These factors may include information such as whether the user has already viewed a previous episode, the elapsed time since viewing the previous episode and a user preference. Related episode content may be modified to remove portions previously viewed by a user, depending on factors such as the elapsed time and a user preference.

  • Publication number: 20240105037
Abstract: Methods, systems and computing devices are described herein for monitoring a premises when residents or other users are present in order to detect patterns of activity at the premises. Such patterns may comprise, for example, a typical schedule indicating usage of one or more devices by one or more users of the premises. When a user is away or otherwise inactive, commands may be sent to various user devices to make it appear (e.g., to those outside the premises) as if the user is present by simulating and/or recreating the patterns that were previously detected.

  • Publication number: 20230409714
Abstract: In one set of embodiments, a computer system can receive one or more application programming interface (API) call traces comprising metadata of API calls made by an application and can extract features from the one or more API call traces, the extracting resulting in one or more feature vectors. The computer system can then provide the one or more feature vectors as input to one or more machine learning (ML) models, where the one or more ML models are configured to generate a prediction for each of the one or more API call traces indicating whether the API call corresponding to the API call trace is normal or anomalous.

  • Publication number: 20230409412
Abstract: In one set of embodiments, a computer system can receive one or more application programming interface (API) call traces comprising metadata of API calls made by a microservice-based application and can evaluate the one or more API call traces against a baseline of normal API call behavior for the application. The computer system can then generate, based on the evaluation, a prediction for each of the one or more API call traces indicating whether the API call corresponding to the API call trace is normal or anomalous.

  • Publication number: 20230412629
Abstract: In one set of embodiments, a computer system can determine that one or more attacks have been or are in the process of being perpetrated against an anomaly detection system, where the anomaly detection system comprises a set of machine learning (ML) models trained to detect anomalous application programming interface (API) call behavior in a microservice-based application based on API call traces collected from the application. In response to this determination, the computer system can initiate one or more actions for securing the anomaly detection system against the one or more attacks.

  • Publication number: 20230306464
Abstract: Aspects discussed herein relate to systems, apparatuses, and methods to determine when a user remains engaged or stops paying attention to a content item. In response, a snapshot of the user's activity and environment may be obtained to ascertain the reason the user stopped paying attention. If the user stopped paying attention as a result of being uninterested in the content item, the system may replace the content item, such as an advertisement, with a different content item to regain the user's attention. Further, demographic information and the user's interests may be updated for use in scheduling future content items.
