  • Publication number: 20140201295
Abstract: An electronic messaging system and method with reduced traceability. Separate displays are provided at a sending user device for separately entering via the user device message content of an electronic message and a recipient address corresponding to the message content such that the separate displays are not displayed via the user device at the same time. The message content and the recipient address are transmitted from the user device separately and the message content is not accessible by a user of the sending user device via the user device after a media component of the message content is transmitted from the device to a server computer.

  • Publication number: 20140181689
Abstract: An electronic messaging system and method with reduced traceability. Separate displays are provided at a recipient user device for separately displaying via the user device header information of an electronic message and message content including a media component. The display of the header information does not display the media component and the display of the message content does not display a username associated with the header information. The message content including the media component are automatically deleted after being displayed such that after the display of the message content is terminated from view, the message content including the media component is no longer available to a recipient user.

  • Publication number: 20140115076
Abstract: A notification server that allows one or more user devices to be associated with one or more third-party service providers such that the one or more third-party service providers can send a notification to the one or more user devices. In one example, a notification server utilizes a user/provider ID to associate a user device with a third-party service provider. A notification may also remove identifying information of a third-party service provider from a notification prior to providing the notification to the user device. A user/provider ID may allow for reduced traceability via its specific association with a particular third-party service provider. Systems and methods for anonymous notification take advantage of the mechanisms of user/provider ID assignment and other aspects to reduce traceability.

  • Publication number: 20130290443
Abstract: An electronic messaging system and method with reduced traceability. An electronic message is separated into a message content and a message header. The message content and header information are entered by a user separately and transmitted from the user computer separately. The message content and header information are stored and displayed separately throughout the process of entry by a sending user and reading by a recipient user. In yet another implementation, an electronic message is permanently automatically deleted from the system at a predetermined time.

  • Publication number: 20130275532
Abstract: Electronic messaging system and method with a determination of message content information that includes a restricted indication of a sender and/or a recipient. A message content that includes a restricted indication of a sender and/or recipient may be rejected. A rejected message content may be limited in deliverability from a sender's computer. A rejected message content may also prompt a warning and/or be modifiable to allow for transmission.

  • Publication number: 20120203849
Abstract: An electronic messaging system and method with reduced traceability. An electronic message is separated into a message content and container (header) information. In one aspect, the message content and header information are entered by a user separately using a single display image screen having separate portions for entry of message content and header information. The separate portions do not allow visibility of content in the portions to be displayed at the same time.

  • Publication number: 20080201440
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring an electronic message. Messaging information is received for inclusion in an electronic message. The messaging information is utilized to determine a desired degree of recordlessness for the electronic message. One or more electronic messaging functionalities for generating and/or transmitting the electronic message is chosen based on the desired degree of recordlessness.

  • Publication number: 20080077704
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method of requesting data from a remote computer having a ping series for a data request that has ping delay time that varies from the initial ping delay time in the ping series to the final ping delay time in the series. In one example, the ping delay time from one ping delay to another in a ping series increases or decreases over the last ping delay time until a predetermined process event occurs.
