  • Publication number: 20100211868
Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method, and article of manufacture for context-enriched microblog posting. In one aspect, a message component is provided. A context data related to a context of a computing device used to generate the message component is provided. The message component and the context data are associated. The context data may be communicated to a web browser. The message component may be communicated to the web browser. The message component may be rendered in a format for communication as a short message service (SMS) message that includes a reference to the context data. The message component and the context data may be rendered in a format for communication as a multimedia messaging service (MMS) message.

  • Publication number: 20100205061
Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method, and article of manufacture of incentive marketing with a context-enriched message. In one embodiment, a message is generated with a computing device. A context of the computing device pertaining to a message component is determined. A context data derived from the context is linked with the message component. An ad message related to at least one of the context of the computing device and the message component is provided. The ad message may be associated with the message. The message and the ad message may be communicated to a recipient computing device. The ad message and the message may be rendered with a user interface.

  • Publication number: 20100145702
Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method, and article of manufacture of associating a context data with a voice-message component. The context data may be encoded into a voice message signal. The context-data may be associated with the voice-message component according to an attribute of the voice message. The attribute of the voice message may include at least one of a word, a phrase, a voice timbre, a duration of a pause between two words, a volume a voice and an ambient sound voice and a duration of a pause between two words. The context data may be selected according to a meaning of the attribute of the voice-message component.

  • Publication number: 20100120456
Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method, and article of manufacture of an association of context data with a text-message component. A context data is associated with a text-message component. The association between the context data and the text-message component may be indicated with a user interface. The association between the context data and the text-message component may be embedded in a text-message signal. The association between the context data and the text-message component may be embedded in a short message service (SMS) signal.

  • Publication number: 20100069103
Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method and article of manufacture for calculation of higher-order data from context data are disclosed. An application program interface receives a set of context data in conjunction with a calculation module. A calculation module calculates a higher-order data using the set of context data. A signal-generation module embeds the higher-order data in a telecommunication signal. The calculation module may create a coordinate space for the set of context data. The calculation module may define a property of the coordinate space. The calculation module operates to define a function that describes a relation between each member of the set of context data.

  • Patent number: 7580719
Abstract: A Short Message Service (SMS) enables a sender to send an asynchronous short message (often informal) from his source device to one or more receiving devices that are specified by the sender and represent one or more recipients. The SMS associates with each particular short message specific context information about that particular message (including its originator, recipient, type, reason for sending, and the sending time). The SMS may associate further specific context information it has already about previous messages or previously-established links and patterns, without further input from the sender, and display that associated specific context information to the recipient. By parsing and analyzing the combined asynchronous short message and its associated specific context information, using cultural, linguistic, and reverse-association means, a SMS can provide context-driven support for any social or formal obligation(s) conveyed by an individual short message.
