  • Publication number: 20230275940
Abstract: An electronic device incorporates, and a method and a computer program product provide automatic selection of an image capturing device during video communication session to encompass a local participant. A network interface(s) of the electronic device communicatively connects over a network second electronic device(s). A controller of the electronic device monitors a first image capturing device having a first field of view (FOV) and that produces first image content and a second image capturing device having a second FOV that differs from the first FOV and that produces second image content. In response to a trigger event to start providing image content to the video communication session, the controller determines which one of the first FOV and the second FOV encompasses the local participant in the video communication session and communicates a corresponding one of the first image content and the second image content to the video communication session.

  • Publication number: 20230276116
Abstract: An electronic device, a method and a computer program product for camera adjustments based on eye gaze tracking. The method includes capturing, via a front facing camera, an image stream containing a face of a user and determining, via a processor, an eye gaze direction based on images retrieved from the image stream. The eye gaze direction corresponds to a location where the user is looking. In response to determining that the user is looking away from the front surface of the electronic device and towards a direction within a field of view of a rear facing camera, the method further includes identifying image characteristics of the location, generating camera settings of the rear facing camera based on the eye gaze direction/characteristics of the location and adjusting the rear facing camera using the generated camera settings such that the rear facing camera focuses on the location.

  • Patent number: 11743065
Abstract: An electronic device, computer program product, and method mitigates loss of communication between participants in a communication session when a remote participant attempts to speak without manually unmuting the electronic device. A controller configures the electronic device to monitor one or more image streams originating respectively at one or more second electronic devices during a video communication session. The controller identifies, in a particular image stream of the one or more image streams, at least one of a speaking movement of a mouth of a particular participant or a gesture by the particular participant to present an audio input via the video communication session. A user interface presented on at least one user interface device of the electronic device presents an alert that the particular participant is attempting to speak to other participants in the video communication session.

  • Patent number: 11742235
Abstract: Embodiments described herein generally relate to process chambers with coaxial lift devices. In some embodiments, the device comprises both a bottom bowl lift and a pedestal lift. The bottom bowl lift supports a bottom bowl and is configured to move the bottom bowl into a position that reduces the process volume. The bottom bowl lift is co-axial with the pedestal lift and the bottom bowl lift and the pedestal lift are attached for vacuum operation. The pedestal lift includes multiple actuators to create a dynamic lift mechanism. Both systems complete a nested system such that the bottom bowl lift is adjustable and can close the bottom bowl creating a symmetric and small process volume. The pedestal lift can move independently to its process position and tilt in a desired direction without interference with the bottom bowl lift, increasing film uniformity on a processed substrate.

  • Patent number: 11743166
Abstract: Techniques are described for provisioning non-colored segment routing label switched paths (LSPs) via segment routing policies in border gateway protocol (BGP). For example, an ingress router receives a segment routing policy advertisement specifying an endpoint of one or more paths, and a policy color field of the one or more paths, wherein the policy color field is specified with a designated value that causes the network device to store the one or more paths in a data structure that stores non-colored paths. The ingress router determines that the policy color is specified with the designated value. The ingress router, in response to determining that the policy color is specified with the designated value, stores the one or more paths in the data structure that stores non-colored paths.

  • Patent number: 11740935
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for FPGA accelerated serverless computing comprises receiving, from a user, a definition of a serverless computing task comprising one or more functions to be executed. A task scheduler performs an initial placement of the serverless computing task to a first host determined to be a first optimal host for executing the serverless computing task. The task scheduler determines a supplemental placement of a first function to a second host determined to be a second optimal host for accelerating execution of the first function, wherein the first function is not able to accelerated by one or more FPGAs in the first host. The serverless computing task is executed on the first host and the second host according to the initial placement and the supplemental placement.

  • Patent number: 11729080
Abstract: Agentless method to automatically detect low latency groups in containerized infrastructures includes obtaining information about communication across workloads within a cluster of containers implemented by an operating environment. The information identifies multiple pairs of containers. Each pair includes a network source container and a corresponding network destination container. The information includes, for each pair of containers, a corresponding latency associated with a network call between the network source container and the corresponding network destination container. An undirected graph is generated using the obtained information. The undirected graph represents a node-wide latency within the cluster. Using the undirected graph, nodes within the cluster with a latency less than a threshold latency level are grouped. Grouped nodes with latencies less than the threshold latency level are provided.

  • Publication number: 20230252110
Abstract: Various systems, methods and devices are presented for performing media encryption. A media stream comprising audio packets and video packets can be received. A chunk of the media stream can be sorted to create a first group of a plurality of audio packets with an I-frame header and a second group of a plurality of P-frames and an I-frame payload. The first group can be encrypted while the second group is not encrypted. A fully-protected output media stream that includes the encrypted first group and the second group can then be streamed to a remote device via a network for output.
