Publication number: 20240054509Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for intelligent shelfware prediction and system adoption assistance. One example method includes identifying historical shelfware information for software products for customers of a software provider. The historical shelfware information is used to train machine learning models to generate a prediction that indicates a likelihood that a particular product for a particular customer will turn into shelfware. A request is received to generate a shelfware prediction for a first software product for a first customer of the software provider. A first trained machine learning model corresponding to the first software product and the first customer is identified. A first shelfware risk prediction is received from the first trained machine learning model that indicates a likelihood that the first software product turns into shelfware for the first customer. The first shelfware risk prediction is provided in response to the request.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 15, 2022Publication date: February 15, 2024Inventors: Riju Mukhopadhyay, Thorsten Henrichs, Amit Lodhe, Sonali Jha, Ramkishan Mukesh Gupta

Patent number: 9708897Abstract: A method for performing an oilfield operation of an oilfield having a subterranean formation. The method includes collecting oilfield data and deploying a first plug-in including a first oilfield technology functionality into an oilfield hosting application. The method further includes performing an oilfield analysis on the collected oilfield data in the oilfield hosting application using the first oilfield technology functionality of the first plug-in to generate an oilfield output and adjusting an oilfield operation based on the oilfield output.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2013Date of Patent: July 18, 2017Assignee: Schlumberger Technology CorporationInventors: Shashi Menon, Eric Jonathan Schoen, Amit Lodh, Truls Arnegaard, Stephen Whitley, Keith Tushingham

Patent number: 8103493Abstract: Systems and methods of performing oilfield operations for an oilfield are provided. The oilfield has a subterranean formation with geological structures and reservoirs therein. A plurality of oilfield modules are positioned in an application. Each of the oilfield modules models at least a portion or attribute of the oilfield. The oilfield modules are selectively connected via a connection. The connections may be integrated connections providing cooperation for integrated modeling therebetween and/or dynamic connections providing knowledge sharing for unified modeling therebetween whereby at least one oilfield model is generated. At least one internal database may be positioned in the application for collecting oilfield data and operatively connected to the of oilfield modules. At least one oilfield model is generated using the oilfield data and the oilfield modules.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2008Date of Patent: January 24, 2012Assignee: Schlumberger Technology CorporationInventors: Russ Sagert, Randolph E. F. Pepper, Bruce Cornish, Bill Gillock, Mark Passolt, Amit Lodh, Shashi Menon
