  • Publication number: 20240172305
Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication, the apparatus configured to configured to receive a RRC reconfiguration request associated with CA; perform a first set of RRC reconfiguration operations associated with a first set of physical layer parameters in response to the RRC reconfiguration request; transmit, based on completing performing the first set of RRC reconfiguration operations, an RRC reconfiguration complete indication; and perform, after transmitting the RRC reconfiguration complete indication, a second set of RRC reconfiguration operations associated with a second set of parameters other than the first set of physical layer parameters. In certain aspects, the apparatus may be configured to schedule, in response to the RRC reconfiguration request, at least one gap in uplink transmission and downlink reception via a PCC to coincide with one or more time periods based on a known configuration for communication with a network node associated with the carrier aggregation.

  • Patent number: 9949161
Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determine that the wireless communication device is configured to use a primary component carrier (PCC), a first secondary component carrier (SCC), and a second SCC for carrier aggregation. A primary cell may be associated with the PCC, a first secondary cell may be associated with the first SCC, and a second secondary cell may be associated with the second SCC. The first secondary cell may provide control information for the second secondary cell. The wireless communication device may monitor at least one of the first SCC or the second SCC. The wireless communication device may perform an action associated with the second secondary cell based, at least in part, on monitoring the at least one the first SCC or the second SCC.

  • Patent number: 9848408
Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus may be a UE which uses a first antenna and a second antenna for communication with a first RAT. The apparatus determines that the second antenna is to be used for a procedure associated with a second RAT at a first time. The apparatus reduces a UE RI from an initial value to a reduced value for the communication with the first RAT at the first time based on the determination.
