  • Patent number: 12253471
Abstract: A system for taking high-resolution photographs from a vehicle-mounted camera, forming orthomosaics from video and/or multiple high-resolution photographs, and using artificial intelligence to detect and classify pavement flaws and defects in the imagery. Detection also includes the ability to capture quantifiable metrics for the defects and/or a region of interest. Three-dimensional imagery is produced from the same images as the orthomosaics. Surface and terrain map products made from the same source images capture additional details such as depth and volume. The highlighted orthomosaics and three-dimensional imagery can then be used as a basis to determine the pavement surface condition and subsequently support maintenance orders and manage pavement repairs. Further, metadata such as latitude, longitude, and altitude geo-location coordinates and sampling time can also be transferred to the output products to create a digital time history and enable analysis for preventative maintenance planning.

  • Publication number: 20220017238
Abstract: A process for rapid re-configuration and customization of small satellites using additively manufactured chassis customized to create a more conformal and integrated bus design adapted to a particular payload. The additional components or subsystems of the bus required are are integrated either on the sidewalls of the additively manufactured chassis, or as the sidewalls of such chassis, while the payload is also secured or integrated via custom features that are part of the additively manufactured chassis. Chassis can be rapidly reconfigured in the design stage to adapt to a preferred vendor's application, components and subsystems, or payload specifications, an engineering change to the bus and/or payload, responsive to test data, or the like, thereafter additively manufacturing a new chassis and rapidly producing the entire small satellite.

  • Patent number: 8301487
Abstract: A power and risk score calibrator is provided, which receives quantitative power and risk scores for each quantitative segment, and receives qualitative power and risk scores for each qualitative segment. The qualitative segment and the qualitative power and risk scores are defined by a user. The system generates consolidated segments. Then consolidated power and risk scores for each of the consolidated segments are generated, respectively. The gaps between the qualitative power and risk scores and the consolidated power and risk scores are reconciled. From these reconciliations, adjustment factors are generated, which are applied by pricing power and risk value calibrators. The system may also perform a drill down to explain the gap between the qualitative scores and the consolidated scores.

  • Publication number: 20090259523
Abstract: The present invention relates to a power and risk score calibrator which includes segment pricing power and risk reconcilers, a segment cartographer, segment power and risk aggregators, pricing power and risk value comparers, and pricing power and risk value calibrators. The reconcilers receive quantitative power and risk scores for each quantitative segment, and receive qualitative power and risk scores for each qualitative segment. The qualitative segment and the qualitative power and risk scores are defined by a user. The cartographer generates consolidated segments. The aggregators may then generate consolidated power and risk scores for each of the consolidated segments, respectively. The comparers then reconcile gaps between the qualitative power and risk scores and the consolidated power and risk scores. From these reconciliations adjustment factors are generated, which are applied by pricing power and risk value calibrators.

  • Publication number: 20090259522
Abstract: The present invention relates to a quantitative pricing power and pricing risk score generator and methods therefore, useful in association with an integrated price management system. Such a system may include a segment generator, a segment pricing power analyzer, and a segment pricing risk analyzer. The segment generator may receive or generate segments associated with a customer. Segment generation uses transaction level data which includes product attribute information, market data, and transaction history data. The segment pricing power analyzer and risk analyzer identify pricing power and risk factors, and assign raw scores to each factor, generates a weight for each raw score for each of the pricing power factors, and generates the quantitative pricing power and risk scores for each segment by computing a weighted average of the factors using the generated weights for each of the raw scores. Weights may be assigned according to default values or may be generated via an optimization.
