    Abstract: The present invention contemplates methods and compositions for removing a tattoo. In one aspect, the present invention contemplates the use of a macrophage cell disrupter, optionally with an IRM for removing a tattoo. Both the IRM and the macrophage cell disrupter may be admixed with an adhesive. In one aspect the present invention contemplates a composition comprising an adhesive and an IRM. Such composition can be found in a kit for removal of a tattoo. In any of the embodiments herein, low dose IRMs are preferred.
