  • Publication number: 20080247327
Abstract: Methods of correlating wireless network performance of a wireless network are disclosed. One method includes collecting wireless network performance parameters at a location of the network, observing at least one of activities and conditions of the wireless network over the period of time, and correlating the wireless network performance parameters with at least one of the activities and conditions of the wireless network. The wireless network performance parameters can be collected by one or more test devices operating at nodes or clients within the wireless network.

  • Patent number: 7419106
Abstract: A nozzle for use with a walk-behind blower includes a nozzle restriction due to a sloped upper wall of the nozzle body. The nozzle restriction increases the air velocity in the upper region of the nozzle and forces leaves and debris downward so that airflow through the lower region of the nozzle more effectively laterally displaces them. The configuration of the nozzle body may be adapted to accommodate a variety of engine outputs while utilizing a common design for a blower frame, impeller and shroud.

  • Patent number: 7047592
Abstract: A combination blower assembly and string trimmer whereby the string trimmer head is easily detachable without the use of any tools. The device includes a blower assembly that further includes an upper and lower housing mated together to form a volute-shaped cavity where an impeller with airfoil-shaped blades reside. The detachable string trimmer head is located under the lower housing of the blower assembly and is easily attached or removed from the blower assembly by a simple push and turn motion. The blower assembly further includes an air inlet and air inlet cover. When the air inlet cover is rotated to a position where the air inlet is open the blower assembly is operable and the string trimmer is inoperable. Furthermore, when the air inlet cover is rotated to a position where the air inlet is closed the blower assembly is inoperable and the string trimmer is operable.

  • Publication number: 20030082016
Abstract: An improved blower with a directional output nozzle is provided for various tasks such as moving debris or drying surfaces. The blower includes a frame mounted on wheels and a motor mounted to the frame. The blower also includes a housing with an inlet opening and directional output nozzle. An impeller is located in the blower housing and is driven by the motor to generate airflow. As the impeller rotates, air is drawn in through the inlet opening and is discharged through the output nozzle. The output nozzle can be repositioned by rotation by either local control or remote actuation.
