In one embodiment, an apparatus is provided comprising a mobile electronic device having a first side and a second opposing side, a first camera on the first side of the mobile electronic device, and a second camera on the first side of the mobile electronic device, wherein the first camera is configured to obtain a first image and the second camera is configured to obtain a second image simultaneously, wherein the second image partially overlaps the first image, and wherein the mobile electronic device merges the first image and the second image to create an image which comprises at least a portion of the first image and the second image.
