  • Patent number: 10802454
Abstract: A device for controlling an operating state of at least one component of a production plant, including an energy control unit for providing a state change signal for changing the operating state of the at least one component from a first operating state to a second operating state, wherein the device includes a monitoring unit which is designed to receive the state change signal of the energy control unit, and to provide the state change signal of the energy control unit for changing the first operating state to the second operating state, and to modify the state change signal of the energy control unit for providing the second operating state, and to block the state change signal of the energy control unit for preventing a change of state into the second operating state.

Date of Patent: October 13, 2020
    Assignee: SIEMENS AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT
Inventors: Frank Jungnickel, Amjad Mohsen, Jörn Peschke
  • Patent number: 10718800
Abstract: A method for determining the energy consumption of a production system such that the production system can be planned and operated more efficiently in terms of energy, where a load profile of the production system is determined, an energy requirement of the production system is estimated, an energy model of the production system is determined and the energy consumption of the production system is determined.

  • Publication number: 20160132616
Abstract: In a method for planning a power distribution network for an installation having a multiplicity of power consumers, time-dependent load profiles for the power consumers are created as a function of a change, over time, in inertial masses to be speeded up, slowed down and/or kept in motion using the power consumers, and time-dependent power profiles are created for the power consumers. A network plan is created for the power distribution network, and a time-dependent power profile is computed for the installation. Network components of the power distribution network are dimensioned as a function of the computed time-dependent power demands on the network components.

  • Publication number: 20150120005
Abstract: A method for determining the energy consumption of a production system includes a) determining a load profile of the production system via of a load calculating device, b) estimating an energy requirement of the production system based on the determined load profile and an electromechanical model of the production system via an energy calculating device, c) determining an energy model of the production system based on the estimated energy requirement, and d) determining the energy consumption of the production system via the load calculating device depending on the energy model and a load transported via the production system.
