  • Patent number: 11886896
Abstract: Digital workspace ergonomics apparatuses, method and systems (“DWE”) transform user multi-element touchscreen gestures via DWE components into updated digital collaboration whiteboard objects. In one embodiment, the DWE obtains user whiteboard input from a client device participating in a digital collaborative whiteboarding session. The DWE parses the user whiteboard input to determine user instructions, and modifies a tile object included in the digital collaborative whiteboarding session according to the determined user instructions. The DWE generates updated client viewport content for the client device. Also, the DWE determines that client viewport content of a second client device should be modified because of modifying the tile object included in the digital whiteboard.

  • Publication number: 20180039394
Abstract: A user interface through which information is proactively provided utilizes visual cues indicative of the relevance of the information that is being proactively provided. Such visual cues include sizing, color, intensity, movement, and other like visual attributes. A single discrete visual element proactively presents information to the user. The user is provided with the opportunity to define discrete events, whereby information associated with such events is presented through other discrete elements. The physical orientation of such discrete elements indicates relationships between elements. Ranking functionality identifies more immediately relevant information and the rankings of related elements are increased based upon other, contextual information with which such information is associated, and on which the importance of such information is based.

  • Patent number: 9274699
Abstract: A large scale multi-user, multi-touch system with a specialized zone-based user interface including methods for space management and spatial apportioning of audio cues. The system comprises a multi-touch display component fabricated in dimensions sufficient for at least a plurality of users and for displaying projected images and for receiving multi-touch input. The apparatus includes a plurality of image projectors, a plurality of cameras for sensing multi-touch input and the apparatus includes interface software for managing user space. The interface software implements techniques for managing multiple users using the same user interface component by allocating physical spaces within the multi-touch display component and coordinating movement of displayed objects between the physical spaces.

  • Publication number: 20120274583
Abstract: The MULTIMODAL TOUCHSCREEN INTERACTION APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“MTI”) transform multi-user, multi-modal touchscreen input gestures via MTI components into user-customized computation result displays. In one implementation, the MTI obtains, from a touchscreen sensor, a sensor signal including information on a user touch event on a touchscreen. The MTI determines location coordinates of the user touch event from the sensor signal. The MTI identifies a touch type of the user touch event from the sensor signal, and determines a user touchscreen gesture using the touch type of the user touch event. The MTI queries a memory for a user command associated with the user touchscreen gesture, and executing the user command via a processor.

  • Publication number: 20110196864
Abstract: The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A VISUAL QUERY BUILDER (“VQB”) take user gesture inputs on displayed objects, and transform them via VQB components into search results display objects arranged by search relevance in proximity to the displayed objects. In one embodiment, the VQB obtains an object-manipulating gesture input, and correlates the object-manipulating gesture input to a display object. The VQB then classifies the object-manipulating gesture input as a specified type of search request. The VQB generates a search query according to the specified type of search request using metadata associated with the display object, and provides the search query to search engine(s) and/or database(s). The VQB obtains, in response to providing the search query, search result display objects and associated search result display object relevance values.
