    Abstract: An apparatus includes a scanner and a resolution engine. The scanner detects first and second software exceptions. The scanner also determines that the first software exception occurred previously in a plurality of desktops and that the second software exception did not occur previously in the plurality of desktops. The resolution engine determines a first solution and a second solution for resolving the first software exception and that the first solution has a higher ranking than the second solution. The resolution engine also generates a software patch that implements the first solution and deploys the software patch. The resolution engine further determines a series of steps implemented to resolve the second software exception and records the series of steps to prepare a second software patch if the second software exception occurs again in the plurality of desktops.

The schema file defines a parsing process for parsing an opaque data record of the first. The first schema file specifies each field of the opaque data record of the first type. Parsing instructions are generated based on the schema file. The parsing instructions are for parsing an opaque data record of the first type provided by the data provider system into a set of data fields. The parsing instructions are provided to an entity system external to the platform. The first entity system is associated with a first platform account.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of systems and techniques for estimating the severity of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in a patient. For example, in some embodiments, a system for estimating COPD severity in a patient may include logic to receive a breathing signal representative of breathing activity of the patient over a time interval, receive a locomotion signal representative of locomotive activity of the patient over the time interval, and provide breathing data and locomotion data to additional logic, wherein the additional logic is to generate an estimate of COPD severity in the patient by comparison of 1) a cross-recurrence quantification analysis (cRQA) parameter between the breathing data and the locomotion data and 2) a reference value. The breathing data may be based on the breathing signal, and the locomotion data may be based on the locomotion signal.
