A cord attached to the flag portion allows adjustable height extension beyond the shaft's distal end. Optional features include a reel for cord management, a stabilizing weight, a light element for illumination, reflective materials, a telescoping flag rod for an alternative two-dimensional flag, a compression nut assembly for securing the balloon or rod, and a clamp for attachment to external structures like paddle boards or boats.
