  • Patent number: 10725916
Abstract: A system includes sensors, a first memory component, a second memory component, and an interface. The sensors are configured to generate data responsive to stimuli. Each sensor may transmit its associated data as it becomes available. The first memory component may receive and store sensor data. The second memory component may receive data from the first memory component. The interface may receive data from the second memory component. The sensor data generated during a time which the interface is receiving data from the second memory component is transmitted to the first memory component and stored thereto. No data is transmitted from the first memory component or from the sensors to the second memory component during the time which the interface is receiving data from the second memory component. Subsequently, a subset of data stored on the first memory component is advanced to the second memory component.

  • Patent number: 10659048
Abstract: A mixed signal system includes a digital domain and an analog domain. The analog domain includes a plurality of BARs. Each BAR includes addressable registers. The digital domain includes an interface configured to communicate with the analog domain, e.g., write data to an addressable register within a BAR by transmitting a first select signal to select a first BAR of the plurality of BARs. The interface transmits an address of the addressable register of the first BAR and broadcasts the write data to the first BAR and at least one BAR other than the first BAR. The analog domain transmits data from a second BAR of the plurality of BARs to the digital domain by gating a select BAR signal associated with each BAR with its corresponding content stored therein to form respective BAR output and further by gating the respective BAR outputs with one another.

  • Publication number: 20160137532
Abstract: An ion-exchange water purification method and system. Feed water is exposed in countercurrent to active media in a vessel, resulting in treated water and spent media. The treated water flows upwards in the vessel and is recovered. The spent media flows to a regeneration zone of the vessel below the active media and is exposed to a regenerant in the regeneration zone, resulting in regenerated media and spent regenerant. The regenerated media flows to a point above the active media and from the point above the active media toward the active media while treated water flows upwards in countercurrent from the active media toward the regenerated media, rinsing the regenerated media and resulting in rinsed media and rinse water. The rinsed media flows to the active media and is combined with the active media.
