    Abstract: A suction control unit placed on an endoscope to control application of suction through at least one of two working channels of the endoscope. The suction unit has first and second valves with first and second valve openings, at a proximal end, that lead through to a distal end, which is adapted to be placed on the first and second ports of the two working channels. The suction unit has a channel extending between the first and second valves, an opening extending from a front wall to a rear wall of the housing and through the channel, and a switcher having a handle and a shaft with a through hole. When the shaft is placed within the opening and in a first position, suction is applied to both the working channels. When the shaft is placed within the opening and in a second position, suction is applied to only one of the two working channels.

In an embodiment, the system includes a male bayonet component located on the main connector for connecting with a female bayonet component placed in an opening on a surface of the main control unit, wherein said female fitting member is coupled to a slidable switch through a crankshaft in the main control unit.

    Abstract: The present specification describes a jet distributor provided to supply fluids to each of a plurality of jet openings in a multi jet endoscope tip. In an embodiment, the jet distributor is supplied with a fluid from a jet pump. The jet distributor includes at least two fluid channels to provide the fluid supplied via the jet pump to the front-jet, right-side-jets and left-side-jets in the endoscope tip. The jet-distributor includes a motor which rotates a rotating plug. The rotating plug includes an internal fluid pathway which becomes intermittently aligned with each of a plurality of fluid output channels in the jet distributor as the plug rotates, thereby providing fluid in a successive manner to the jets in the endoscope tip.

In an embodiment, the tip section includes a groove aligned with side jet channels, where multiple holes drilled above the groove, through the periphery of a tip cover covering the tip section, provide an exit for the fluid circulated by the side jet channels in all directions around the tip cover. In another embodiment, the tip section includes a removable attachment that covers jet channel openings. Multiple holes drilled through the cover provide a multiple jet exit for the fluid circulated by the jet channels in multiple directions around the tip cover.
