Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for facilitating creation of objects for incorporation into artificial reality environments are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive, from a first user, a media representation of an object for incorporation into an artificial reality environment; generate an offer of compensation for creation of the object of the media representation in a format capable of being incorporated into the artificial reality environment; receive, from a second user, acceptance of the offer of compensation; receive an indication that the object of the media representation has been created in the format capable of being incorporated into the artificial reality environment; and cause addition of the created object to a global asset library accessible by a plurality of users.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a virtual space for multiple devices can include a first device having at least one sensor configured to acquire a spatial information of a physical space of the first device. The first device may include at least one processor configured to establish, according to the acquired spatial information, a virtual space corresponding to the physical space, that is accessible by a user of the first device via the first device. The at least one processor may further be configured to register a second device within the physical space, to allow a user of the second device to access the virtual space via the second device.

Abstract: An automatic avatar system can build a custom avatar with features extracted from one or more sources. The automatic avatar system can identify such features in a source image of a user, from an online context source of the user (e.g., shopping activity, social media activity, messaging activity, etc.), and/or from a user-provided textual description source describing one or more avatar features. The automatic avatar system can query an avatar library for the identified avatar features. In some cases, the automatic avatar system may identify multiple options for the same avatar feature from the various sources and the automatic avatar system can select which of the features to use based on a priority order specified among the sources or by providing the multiple options to the user for selection. Once the avatar features are obtained, the automatic avatar system can combine them to build the custom avatar.

Abstract: Systems and methods for maintaining a shared interactive environment include receiving, by a server, requests to register a first input device of a first user and a second input device of a second user with a shared interactive environment. The first input device may be for a first modality involving user input for an augmented reality (AR) environment, and the second input device may be for a second modality involving user input for a personal computer (PC) based virtual environment or a virtual reality (VR) environment. The server may register the first and second input device with the shared interactive environment. The server may receive inputs from a first adapter for the first modality and from a second adapter for the second modality. The inputs may be for the first and second user to use the shared interactive environment.
