Abstract: An electronic reservation method includes detecting that a user has utilized a first computing device in a transaction in which the user acquires an item, or acquires a voucher for a particular activity. An electronic reservation is created by a reservation server for the user based on the detecting that reserves one of a plurality of reservable locations within a predefined geographic area for the user. The plurality of reservable locations are configured for use of the item or for an activity related to but different than the particular activity. A credential for the electronic reservation is transmitted to a mobile computing device of the user.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for monitoring a location of a key relative to a key box, configured to perform: (i) providing access to the key by: communicating over a personal area network with a first mobile device for the first user as the first user approaches the key box in an attempt to obtain the key, obtaining first credentials from the first mobile device, determining whether the first credentials are valid or invalid, when the first credentials are valid: putting the key box in an unlocked configuration, (ii) tracking a location of the key by: communicating over the personal area network with: the key and/or mobile device to determine whether the key is being returned to the key box, wherein upon a determination by the key box or the mobile device that the key is not being returned, an alert is provided by the mobile device to the first user.

Abstract: A method of extending user access to a guest in a building space in a building system including at least one of a cloud computing environment and a control device associated with the building system to execute the method. The method includes receiving a request for access to a building space, the request associated with providing access to the building space for the guest, the request including a unique identifier associated with the building space, notifying a user associated with the building space of the request and requesting an authorization to provide the access to the building space, and receiving an authorization from the user associated with permitting the guest access to the building space associated with the unique identifier. The method also includes transmitting the authorization to the guest and permitting access to the building space associated with the unique identifier based on the authorization.

Abstract: Methods and systems of credential synchronization for a mobile device include performing one or more of: time-based, location-based, and push notification-based credential synchronization between a credential server and a mobile device. Credential synchronization handles conditions where synchronization is delayed due to communication issues between the credential server and the mobile device. Synchronization can be performed prior to the mobile device reaching a location of an access control to be opened based on a credential provided during credential synchronization.

The lock audit records store timestamps of detected occurrences of a lock state of the access control device changing during a period of stay of a hotel guest assigned to a room operably coupled to the access control device. Analytics are performed based at least in part on the lock audit records to predict a time that the hotel guest will not be in the room. A room service time is determined for the room based at least in part on the predicted time that the hotel guest will not be in the room. A notification that includes the determined room service time is transmitted to a mobile device of the hotel guest.
