  • Patent number: 7591384
Abstract: A rack for holding articles such as propane tanks. Two holders having curved sides are attached by a flexible strap and rest on top of two of the tanks to form a seat for a third with the attached strap. The strap extends around the periphery of the holder through a series of H-shaped cutouts in order to hold the strap firmly in position by friction and to form a pad to prevent damage to the surface of the tank. Anchors may also be provided made of a tube with a central rod placed therein between which the strap is placed.

  • Publication number: 20080124184
Abstract: A flexible system for holding articles such as propane tanks. Straps are arranged around and over three tanks in order to support the outer tanks in a cantilevered fashion over another row of tanks which only has two tanks. Spacers may be inserted between the three tanks to adjust the necessary dimensions for truck. The straps may take a number of configurations and may be held by different locking devices for holding the straps. The straps may also include hooks for attachment to eyes on the tanks.

  • Patent number: 5735412
Abstract: A stack is formed by a rack having a plurality of holders. A first flexible holder is provided between two adjacent rigid holders. First and second articles are placed on a support and are spaced a pre-determined distance. The rigid second and third holders are placed on top of the first and second articles. A third article is then placed in the first flexible holder between the rigid second and third holders. The weight of the third article on the first flexible holder will cause the second and third rigid holders to move into clamping engagement with sides of the third article. Additional articles can then be placed on the stack. This arrangement provides for a self-gripping rack and article combination.

  • Patent number: 5094096
Abstract: A method of bending round tubular metal stock for use in the manufacture of tubular frame furniture comprising the steps of first bending the stock to a shape close to the final angle and thereafter compressing the stock in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the bend so as to fractionally increase the stock diameter in the plane of the bend and reversely bend the stock so as to achieve the final angular relation.

  • Patent number: 5018789
Abstract: A chair with a tubular metal frame carrying a seat and backrest. The lower portion of the backrest is connected to the frame by at least one mounting assembly that includes metal straps that are mounted on the front and rear surfaces of the backrest core and connected together by the fasteners that pass through the straps and core. A bracket is secured to the strap on the rear surface of backrest and is welded to the portion of the metal frame which supports the backrest.

  • Patent number: 3968595
Abstract: An operating and speed control mechanism for revolving doors features an improved gearing arrangement which makes possible a gear ratio of reduction between the drive motor shaft and door shaft far greater than any gear reduction heretofore attainable, even when using a greater number of gears in the allotted space. Additionally, the improved gear transmission renders the mechanism even more compact than the most favorable prior art arrangements in the interest of satisfying more stringent architectural requirements in the installation of revolving doors. Unexpected benefits provided by the improved and simplified gearing are increased braking efficiency and extra braking force from a small centrifugal brake assembly, and greater and more efficient lubricant circulation in the mechanism for the purposes of brake surface wetting and general lubrication and cooling of the mechanism.
