  • Publication number: 20240127719
Abstract: A signage displaying device for increasing visibility of signage includes a pair of frames, each comprising a pair of vertical members to which are attached a plurality of crossmembers. A hinge is attached to and extends between a respective vertical member of one of the frames and a respective vertical member of the other of the frames. The hinge defines a vertical axis about which the frames are selectively hingable. Associated connectors of a plurality of connectors attached to the frames selectively engage a panel to removably engage the panel to a respective frame. Mounting elements attached singly to lower ends of the vertical members engage the pair of frames to a substantially horizontal surface.

  • Patent number: 11954243
Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) device can be configured to generate a virtual representation of a user's physical environment. The AR device can capture images of the user's physical environment to generate or identify a user's location. The AR device can project graphics at designated locations within the user's environment to guide the user to capture images of the user's physical environment. The AR device can provide visual, audible, or haptic guidance to direct the user of the AR device to explore the user's environment.

  • Patent number: 8407173
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods establish quantitative relationships between system features and system objectives. In some embodiments, the features have a plurality of feature values related to the objective and the methods comprise analyzing a mathematical functional relationship between the plurality of feature values and the objective to create a plurality of objective values reflecting the ability of the feature values to satisfy the objective, selecting a feature value and analyzing the relationship to create an objective value; and generating an objective measure reflecting the objective value. In some embodiments, the mathematical function comprises a polynomial interpolation. In some embodiments, the features are a fidelity dimension and the feature values are values of fidelity in a processor based aircraft simulator.

  • Publication number: 20090192964
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods establish quantitative and accurate relationships between system features and system objectives. In one embodiment, the systems and methods are particularly suitable to establish the predictive relationships between system fidelity and training objectives. These systems and methods can combine fidelity values defined by end-users, existing theory and research, or objective performance data from experiments. The predictive relationships defined through these methods can feed a model-based decision support tool that helps predict the impact of fidelity on training effectiveness.

  • Publication number: 20060047669
Abstract: A system is presented that keeps and manages many varieties of information, and the metadata surrounding that information, in an electronic format. The system allows each organization to define for itself not only the types of information to be stored, but who will store and retrieve it, who will manage it, what will be done to protect it, and what metadata should be recorded for each of type of information owned by the organization.
