  • Publication number: 20240390420
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to the use the growth factors such as e.g., cytokines IL-2 and IL-12 for T-cell activation whereby the growth factor(s) is/are expressed by cells comprising synthetic chromosomes. The growth factor(s) is/are desirably under controllable expression from a synthetic chromosome. By approaches described herein, one can control an immune response to treat or inhibit a disease such as a cancer. The control may be provided by inducing expression of the growth factor(s), wherein expression level(s) can be fine-tuned. If more than one growth factor is expressed, the levels can be individually controlled so that the desired concentrations of each growth factor are obtained.

  • Patent number: 11715026
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing open-loop quantum error mitigation using quantum measurement emulations are provided. The open-loop quantum error mitigation methods do not require the performance of state readouts or state tomography, reducing hardware requirements and increasing overall computation speed. To perform a quantum measurement emulation, an error mitigation apparatus is configured to stochastically apply a quantum gate to a qubit or set of qubits during a quantum computational process. The stochastic application of the quantum gate projects the quantum state of the affected qubits onto an axis, reducing a trace distance between the quantum state and a desired quantum state.

  • Publication number: 20190134966
Abstract: A wall covering assembly includes a sheet that is rolled onto itself to form a roll. An adhesive layer is coupled to the sheet and the adhesive layer adheres to a support surface thereby retaining the sheet on the support surface for ornamental purposes. A rolling unit is provided and the roll is rotatably coupled thereto thereby facilitating the sheet to be selectively drawn off of the rolling unit. The rolling unit is manipulated thereby facilitating the sheet to be applied to the support surface. A heating unit is coupled to the rolling unit and the heating unit is in thermal communication with the rolling unit. The heating unit selectively heats the rolling unit when the heating unit is turned on thereby communicating the heat to the adhesive layer for activation.
