In particular, there is provided a composition comprising at least one compound having the formula R1R2NR3, wherein R1, R2 and R3, are selected from the group consisting of hydrido, alkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, cycloalkyl, cycloaryl, cycloheteroaryl, alkenyl and alkynyl. In particular, the compounds and compositions of the invention are suitable for preventing, reducing and/or eliminating biofilms and/or fouling.
