  • Patent number: 12654072
Abstract: A pet toy and related methods are disclosed. An outer member is overmolded about an inner member which defines an interior void. • Patent number: 12635669
Abstract: A food dispensing pet toy includes an outer shell defining an inner void and has one or more apertures sized to accommodate kibble for passing into the inner void of the outer shell. An inner shell is located within inner void of the outer shell, defines an innermost void, and includes one or more apertures sized to accommodate the kibble for passing into the innermost void. The inner shell is independent from the outer shell such that the inner shell is freely moveable within the outer shell. Kibble may be loaded into the innermost void and be dispensed as the toy is jostled during play, thereby incentivizing the pet to continue play.

  • Patent number: 12495769
Abstract: A pet toy with a stowable tail includes a body defining an interior space. The body includes an opening. A barrier extends within the interior space. A tail is attached to the barrier and is extendable through the opening in the body. The barrier may partition the interior space and may include an anchor to which an attachment portion of the tail is attached. An elongate portion of the tail extending from the attachment portion may be sufficiently flexible to permit stuffing of an entirety of the tail within a portion of the interior space.

  • Patent number: 12402602
Abstract: A pet toy for adjustably accommodating various size and shape food items and related methods are provided. A first and second outer component each include a first portion extending within a housing, a second portion extending outside of the housing, and a third portion between said first portion and said second portion engaged to the housing. A first and second inner component are located within the housing and each engage one of the outer components. A through aperture is defined, at least in part, by the housing. The first and second outer components are configured for rotational movement relative to the housing to cause movement of the first and second inner components, respectively, within the housing, thereby adjusting a size of the through aperture.

  • Publication number: 20200045934
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a dog toy, the dog toy including a rope, at least a segment of which is non-linear and a thermoplastic rubber coating surrounding some but not all of the rope. The dog toy is characterized as having exposed rope and rope covered by the thermoplastic rubber along its length such that a dog using the dog toy has access to the rope for chewing but the rope is resistant to degradation due to the thermoplastic rubber coating. The method includes bending the rope for a sufficient period of time such that the rope maintains its non-linear configuration, thereupon the rope is applied together with a pre-molded thermoplastic round core to a mold and the thermoplastic rubber is bonded to the rope to create the shape of the toy and to surround some, but not all of the rope with the thermoplastic rubber coating.
