    Abstract: The present invention relates to a pole-mounted anchoring device. The anchoring device is equipped with various adjustable components to insure a stable foundation. The device has a cone-shaped, threaded base component of plastic or metal that screws the device into the ground. The device also has a set of bags that hangs from the device to add weight to the overall unit. The number of weighted bags, amount of sand, or other material in the bags can be altered depending on the weather conditions and size of the item to be supported. Further, the device may be disassembled and transported via a carrying bag.

    Abstract: A method for scheduling a medical service employing at least one computer system is described. A request for a medical service is received at the computer system. The medical service is scheduled for a requested date. At least one nonpayment exposure factor is analyzed to determine whether providing the medical service involves a nonpayment exposure to a medical service provider. The medical service may then be rescheduled for a date after the requested date if the analysis indicates nonpayment exposure to the medical service provider.
