  • Patent number: 11303624
Abstract: A system for multi-factor location-based device verification is configured to receive a first location factor, which may include GPS data, from a client device. The system is also configured to receive one or more additional location factors, such as a second location factor and/or a third location factor, from first and/or second wireless beacons, respectively. The wireless beacons may be located within a predefined area, such as a sports book or another casino area, and the system may determine, based upon the one or more location factors, whether the client device is within the predefined area. As a result, the location of the client device may be verified based upon one or more location factors. In addition, in response to verifying the location of the client device, a new wagering account may be established and/or wagering may be initiated.

  • Patent number: 11302027
Abstract: Embodiments for managing virtual reality (VR) sessions by one or more processors are described. A condition associated with a user experiencing a VR session is detected. A severity of the condition is determined. The determining of the severity of the condition is performed using a cognitive analysis of a detected situation associated with the condition that will affect the user, notwithstanding whether the detected situation is currently occurring within a vicinity of the user experiencing the VR session. If the severity is above a predetermined threshold, a signal representative thereof is generated.

  • Patent number: 11300068
Abstract: A fuel system for an internal combustion engine includes a fuel injector, and a fueling control unit electrically connected to a solenoid in the fuel injector. The fueling control unit energizes the solenoid with a lift current pulse to lift an armature, then energizes the solenoid with a separate capture current pulse to capture the armature at a lifted position. The solenoid is deenergized a dwell time while the armature is in flight toward the lifted position. Armature lifting speed is retarded based on the deenergizing of the solenoid so as to limit bouncing of a valve pin in the fuel injector against a stop. The techniques assist in linearizing a fuel delivery curve.

  • Patent number: 11301540
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for refining the accuracy of network searches by supplementing existing keywords and key phrases in an e-commerce catalog or other database with aggregated and analyzed additional, external data. The internet or another network can be crawled for identifiers which point to entries in the catalog or other database, and, subject to third-party use restrictions, data and metadata can be extracted to enrich the existing keywords and key phrases. The extracted external content may be processed by machine learning techniques in order to find similar entries in the original catalog or database. Categorizing and indexing the entries further improves search recall, including clustering via processing word embeddings.

  • Patent number: 11301857
Abstract: Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for authorizing a payment card transaction using dynamic codes. The system can receive a request for authorization of a transaction using the payment card. The request can identify a verification code associated with the payment card and an identifier of the payment card, and the payment card can have an associated dynamic code accessible to a user via a channel. The verification code can be compared with a value of the dynamic code at the time of the transaction. The system can determine whether the user of the payment card accessed the channel within a time period prior to receiving the request for authorization. In response to the verification code matching the dynamic code at the time of the transaction and determining that the user accessed the channel within the time period prior to receiving the request, the system can authorize the transaction.
