    Abstract: Fracturing systems with frac valves having gates for controlling flow of fracturing fluid are provided. In one embodiment, a fracturing apparatus includes a frac valve having a housing with a cavity transverse to a bore. A gate is positioned in the cavity and is movable between open and closed positions to selectively block flow through the bore. The gate includes a seal assembly positioned to seal against a sidewall of the cavity to surround the bore and block flow through the frac valve when the gate is in the closed position. The seal assembly can be actuated between a less-energized state and a more-energized state following movement of the gate within the cavity from the open position to the closed position. Additional systems, devices, and methods for fracturing are also disclosed.

    Abstract: An assembly for an image forming device includes an access door movable between an open position permitting replacement of a replaceable unit and a closed position. An electrical connector in the image forming device is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. In the retracted position the electrical connector is disengaged from a corresponding electrical connector of the replaceable unit when the replaceable unit is installed in the image forming device. In the extended position the electrical connector is engaged with the corresponding electrical connector of the replaceable unit. The electrical connector is operatively connected to the access door such that movement of the access door from the closed to the open position moves the electrical connector from the extended to the retracted position and movement of the access door from the open to the closed position moves the electrical connector from the retracted to the extended position.

    Abstract: A shim or badge is affixed to a golf cub body to produce a cap-back iron, giving the appearance of a hollow-body iron. In this way, the golf club can be manufactured with the performance benefits of a game improvement iron, while providing the appearance of a blade, player's iron, and/or a hollow-body iron. For example, by using a lightweight and rigid shim or badge to close a cavity opening and extend into the toe portion in the golf club body, the golf club head can provide increased stiffness in the topline, while lowering CG. The system determines a cohort of target devices for distributing an initial release of an update of malware definitions and sends the update exclusively to the target devices. The system analyzes the telemetry data for instances of false positive detections of malware arising from the update to the malware definitions. Based on the analysis of the telemetry data, the system determines whether to further distribute the update outside of the cohort of target client devices or to roll back the update provided to the cohort.     Abstract: A nickel-titanium alloy is made to be wholly or substantially free of titanium-rich oxide inclusions by including yttrium in an amount up to 0.15 wt. %, with the balance of the alloy being nickel and titanium in approximately equal proportion. For example, a NiTiY alloy may have a composition including, in weight percent based on total alloy weight: between 50 and 60 wt. % nickel; between 40 and 50 wt. % titanium; and between 0.01 and 0.15 wt. % yttrium. The resulting alloy is capable of being drawn into various forms, e.g., fine medical-grade wire, without exhibiting an unacceptable tendency to develop surface defects or to fracture or crack during cold drawing or forging. The resulting final forms exhibit favorable fatigue strength and fatigue-resistant characteristics.
