Patent number: 12101028Abstract: A direct-current to direct-current (DC-DC) converter circuit is provided. The DC-DC converter circuit is capable of generating a DC output voltage in a defined voltage range based on an input voltage. The DC-DC converter circuit can include a modulator circuit, an output filter circuit, and a compensator circuit. In a non-limiting example, the output filter circuit includes an inductor-capacitor (LC) circuit formed by an inductor and a multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC). Notably, the MLCC can produce a variable capacitance in the defined voltage range due to inherent DC bias instability, thus risking stability of the DC-DC converter circuit. As such, a control circuit is configured to determine a configurable transconductance based on feedback of the output voltage and control the compensator circuit to operate accordingly. As such, it may be possible to mitigate the effect of MLCC capacitance variation, thus helping to maintain stability of the DC-DC converter circuit.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2020Date of Patent: September 24, 2024Assignee: Active-Semi (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.Inventors: Thinh Ba Nguyen, Hue Khac Trinh

Publication number: 20230126435Abstract: An automated package delivery machine, comprising: a housing with auto-lock doors; carousels; and robotic assemblies. The housing may substantially enclose the carousels and the robotic assemblies, and substantially prevents unwanted access to an interior of the housing. Each carousel may comprise a plurality of storage containers, a drive belt, a motor, and one or more rails. The storage containers may each have a plurality of slots, which are configured to accept and contain one or more packages to be delivered to one or more customers. The rails may form a loop track to which the storage containers are slidably engaged. The drive belt, driven by said motor, is configured to slidingly move the storage containers along the rails. The robotic assemblies are configured to remove the packages from the slots and deliver them to an interior side of the auto-lock doors.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 21, 2022Publication date: April 27, 2023Inventors: Thanh Dang Nguyen, Hung Van Hoang, Ngoc Duy Nguyen, Phung Thi My Huynh, Tien Thi My Huynh, Thach Ba Nguyen

Patent number: 11294731Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for performing a joint simulation for satisfying multiple different coexisting commitments to allocate digital resources. In one aspect, a method includes accessing logged data for prior allocations of digital resources, where the logged data includes at least one property associated with respective allocations of the digital resources. Different allocations of the digital resources included in the logged data are assigned to different ones of the multiple different commitments. For each commitment to allocate digital resources, an expected required resource amount that results in the commitment being allocated at least a specified minimum resource based on the allocations of digital resources of the logged data that were assigned to the multiple different commitments is determined.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2017Date of Patent: April 5, 2022Assignee: Google LLCInventors: James Giles, Nitish J. Patent number: 10826480Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a gate driver circuit that controls high side and low side transistors to operate in buck or boost mode. In buck operating mode, after switching off the low side transistor, the gate driver circuit controls the high side transistor in a constant current mode. After the low side transistor is disabled and no longer conducts current, then the gate driver circuit controls the high side transistor to operate in full-enhancement mode. In boost operating mode, after switching off the high side transistor, the gate driver circuit controls the low side transistor in a constant current mode. After the high side transistor is disabled, then the gate driver circuit controls the low side switching transistor to operate in full-enhancement mode. In both buck and boost operation, the gate driver circuit operates without dead time in which both the high side and low side transistors are off.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2017Date of Patent: November 3, 2020Assignee: Active-Semi, Inc.Inventors: Thinh Ba Nguyen, Thien Khanh Luong, Thuc Huu Lam, Hue Khac Trinh
