  • Patent number: 7491066
Abstract: A patch panel includes a plurality of signal input terminals, an output module having a plurality of signal output terminals and at least one standby signal output terminal, and an adapter module having a slide board and a plurality of sliding blocks slidably mounted on the slide board. Each of the sliding blocks includes an electrical contact mounted thereon and connected to a corresponding signal input terminal. The slide board includes a plurality of electrical terminals mounted thereon and respectively connected to the signal output terminals of the at least one standby signal output terminal. The electrical contacts of the sliding blocks selectively electrically contact the electrical terminals of the slide board by sliding of the sliding blocks from an initial position to another position.

  • Publication number: 20070149907
Abstract: A massaging device particularly for a chair is provided. Owing to the provision of the rotative arms, the relative distance between the upper and lower massaging element pairs in the massaging device can be adjusted, and thus a massaging action imitating a human-made massaging action can be generated by the massaging device. Further, a relative protruding extent between the upper and lower massaging element pairs may be selected, and thus the foul-wheel or dual-wheel based pressing, rubbing and tapping actions can be provided when these massaging elements are operated with cooperation of a displacement mechanism and a control device. In addition, the provided massaging force can be adjusted to achieve a good massaging effect on the acupuncture points and strained muscles of the user.

  • Publication number: 20020117987
Abstract: A force feedback manual pulse generator, comprising a driver and a motor, driving a saddle of a machine tool along an axis for advancing a cutting tool, a CNC controlling device, issuing commands for controlling the driver to drive the motor, a manual pulse generator, and, as the main characteristic, a braking system and a force feedback unit. The manual pulse generator has a handwheel, operated by a user, and an encoder, generating a signal according to a turning movement of the handwheel for controlling the driver to drive the motor. The braking system is mounted on the manual pulse generator, creating a braking force and thus increasing resistance to the turning movement of the handwheel. The force feedback unit senses load experienced by the motor when driving the saddle and controlling the braking system. This is done in a way that upon increasing load of the motor the braking force is increased, so that the user, when turning the handwheel, feels resistance to cutting.

  • Patent number: 6180378
Abstract: Immobilized bioactive protein compositions are prepared containing a bioactive protein such as an enzyme intercalated into galleries of a phyllosilicate, and a crosslinking compound crosslinking the phyllosilicate and the bioactive protein. The phyllosilicate may contain sodium or alkylammonium ions and be montmorillonite. The protein may be lipoxygenase, and crosslinking compounds include tetramethyl orthosilicate, tetraethoxy silicate, propyltrimethoxy silicate, polydimethylortho silicate and methyltrimethoxy silicate. The composition is prepared by delaminating a sodium-saturated phyllosilicate, mixing a bioactive protein with the delaminated phyllosilicate and crosslinking with a crosslinking compound. After crosslinking, the composition may be vacuum dried and ground.
