Abstract: The invention relates to a method for prognosing ACS in a subject, the method comprising determining plasma MIF and Nt-proBNP (or BNP) concentrations in a sample from the subject, diagnosing ACS when the subject plasma concentrations are greater than a reference MIF and Nt-proBNP (or BNP) plasma concentration, and prognosing the magnitude of ACS from the subject plasma MIF and Nt-proBNP (or BNP) concentrations. Also provided is a method of treating ACS in a subject, a device, a kit, and a cardiac biomarker related to the methods of prognosing ACS.

Abstract: A solid state drive (SSD) device includes a cage with a top wall and a bottom wall spaced a distance from the top wall so as to define a cage interior between the top and bottom walls. In addition, at least 10% of an area along a side of the cage is open to the cage interior to permit airflow through the side of the cage. Abstract: The present invention features solid pharmaceutical compositions comprising Compound 1 and Compound 2. Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a method for recovering products from a fermentation broth. The disclosure relates to the use of extractive distillation and/or dehydration to recover products which have close boiling points, such as ethanol and isopropanol, from a fermentation broth. In an embodiment, the recovery of product is completed in a manner that minimizes stress on the microbial biomass, such that it remains viable, at least in part, and may be recycled and reused in the fermentation process, which may result in increased efficiency in the fermentation process. The extractive distillation vessel and/or dehydration reactor may be used downstream of a distillation vessel. To minimize stress on the microbial biomass the distillation vessel may be under vacuum. The extractive distillation vessel may be used alongside a separation vessel such that the separation vessel is capable of recycling extractive distillation agent.

The parameters of the video equipments includes azimuth angle P, vertical angle T and zoom factor Z of the video equipment, the augmented reality client is adapted for calculating the location where the augmented reality tag is presented in the real-time video according to the values of P, T, Z and the target location carried by the augmented reality tag, and presenting the augmented reality tag on the corresponding location of the real-time video. Therefore, the real-time video is served as the base map, and the augmented reality tag is presented on the base map, thereby achieving a video map effect.

A method for determining Gamma parameters for a display includes: setting brightness of the display; lightening a standard image of gradient tricolor under the brightness; calibrating the displaying of the standard image of gradient tricolor with multiple different Gamma values; obtaining the optimal Gamma parameters for the tricolor based on the calibration results; and storing the optimal Gamma parameters for the tricolor corresponding to the brightness in a display chip. The method for determining Gamma parameters for a display calibrates the displaying of the standard image of gradient tricolor with multiple different Gamma values, which can obtain the optimal displaying results based on different calibration results.

The method comprises determining a cache flush time period of the cache for a lower-layer storage device associated with the cache. Abstract: Generally described, one or more aspects of the present application correspond to systems and techniques for spectral imaging using a multi-aperture system with curved multi-bandpass filters positioned over each aperture. The present disclosure further relates to techniques for implementing spectral unmixing and image registration to generate a spectral datacube using image information received from such imaging systems. Aspects of the present disclosure relate to using such a datacube to analyze the imaged object, for example to analyze tissue in a clinical setting, perform biometric recognition, or perform materials analysis.

Abstract: Techniques for accounting for position-specific differences in user interaction while conducting content item selection events are provided. In one technique, a position-specific factor is determined. The position-specific factor may be based on a ratio of an observed interaction and a predicted interaction. Different positions in a content item feed or on a web page may be associated with different position-specific factors. Eventually, multiple content items are identified for presentation on a screen of a computing device. The content items include a first content item for which a predicted interaction rate is calculated and a second content item for which no predicted interaction rate is calculated. An order of the content items is determined based on the position-specific factor. For example, the predicted interaction rate of the first content item is modified based on the position-specific factor. The content items are presented on the screen based on the order.
