  • Publication number: 20240407001
Abstract: A transmitting wireless transmit/receive unit (Tx WTRU) may receive configuration information that indicates one or more parameters. The one or more parameters may be associated with resource selection. The Tx WTRU may determine a first resource selection window and a second resource selection window. The first resource selection window may be associated with an active time of a receiving wireless transmit/receive unit (Rx WTRU). The second resource selection window may be associated with an inactive time of the Rx WTRU. The Tx WTRU may determine a first number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window. The Tx WTRU may determine a first number of candidate resources associated with the second resource selection window. In examples, the Tx WTRU may increase the first number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window to a second number of candidate resources associated with the first resource selection window.

  • Publication number: 20240404704
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein may provide digital medicine support for predicting and mitigating side effects of bispecific antibody treatment (e.g., Pfizer's Elranatamab) for myeloma patients. The side effects may include cytokine release syndrome (CRS), infection (e.g., sepsis), neurotoxicity (e.g., peripheral neuropathy), cytopenia (e.g., neutropenia), etc. These side effects may be predicted based on passive collection of data from patient wearables, patient entered data on healthcare application, and other data such as bloodwork data. Trained machine learning models may be used for predicting the side effects. As the side effects may be predicted before their onsets, a proactive intervention may be feasible to improve the healthcare outcomes for myeloma patients.

  • Publication number: 20240402442
Abstract: The substrate of an integrated circuit component comprises a cutout that extends fully or partially through the substrate. An edge of a photonic integrated circuit (PIC) in the integrated circuit component is coplanar with a wall of the cutout or extends into the cutout. An optical fiber in an FAU is aligned with a waveguide within the PIC and the FAU is attached to the PIC edge and an attachment block. The attachment block provides an increased attachment surface area for the FAU. A portion of the FAU extends into the substrate cutout. A stress relief mechanism can secure the fiber optic cable attached to the FAU to the substrate to at least partially isolate the FAU-PIC attachment from external mechanical forces applied to the optical fiber cable. The integrated circuit component can be attached to a socket that comprises a socket cutout into which an FAU can extend.

  • Patent number: 12156254
Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for sidelink (SL) collision detection and indication (e.g., in new radio (NR) vehicular communications (V2X)). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may send resource reservations (e.g., in sidelink control information (SCI)). A receiving (RX) WTRU may receive SCI from (e.g., multiple) transmitting (TX) WTRUs, where the TX WTRUs are reserving resources for transmission. The TX WTRUs may be unaware of the other TX WTRUs (e.g., unaware of the resources being reserved by other TX WTRUs). Resources may be in conflict, for example, if the reserved resources overlap (e.g., partially or completely). Collision may occur, for example, if multiple TX WTRUs reserve the resources in conflict for transmission and/or if the TX WTRUs reserving the resources in conflict for transmission do not reselect a non-conflicting resource.

  • Publication number: 20240385873
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for performing preflight checks of a distributed computing system, are described. In one aspect, a method includes assigning a computing workload to a first subset of hardware accelerator machines each having one or more hardware accelerators. A preflight check on the first subset is performed before performing the computing workload to verify the functionality of each machine in the first subset. For each hardware accelerator machine of the first subset, a program code package is installed, including a task action based at least in part on characteristics of the computing workload. The task action including a sequence of operations is performed on the hardware accelerator machine to determine whether the task action fails. Whenever the task action fails, the computing workload is re-assigned to a second subset of hardware accelerator machines different from the first subset.
