The method further includes forming a metal pillar in the first opening, sawing the wafer to generate a device die, encapsulating the device die in an encapsulating material, performing a planarization to reveal the metal pillar, forming a second polymer layer over the encapsulating material and the device die, and patterning the second polymer layer to form a second opening. The metal pillar is exposed through the second opening. A second sidewall of the second polymer layer exposed to the second opening has a second tilt angle greater than the first tilt angle.

The AP provides an indication of whether the traffic flow is suitable for transmission as a single-user (SU) multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) (SU-MIMO) communication, as an MU-MIMO communication, as an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) communication, or as a partial bandwidth (BW) MU-MIMO communication to a WLAN subsystem of the AP, the indication being based on one or more of the SLA parameters, the traffic flow attributes, or the network parameters. The AP initiates transmission of the one or more packets based on the indication.

    Abstract: A device includes a gate electrode and a gate dielectric surrounding the gate electrode. The gate electrode surrounds a nanostructure. The nanostructure includes stacked nanosheets. The gate dielectric is formed by a high-k (HK) material. The HK material covers sidewalls of the gate electrode in a direction aligned to adjacent devices. Portions of the HK material are recessed from the sidewalls and refilled by a dielectric material with a dielectric constant less than the HK material and an electrical isolation capability greater than the HK material. Replacing the HK material over the sidewalls of the gate electrode with the dielectric material enhances electrical isolation between the gate electrode with adjacent contacts. Consequently, it can reduce electrical leakage between metal gate (MG) contacts and metal-to-device (MD) contacts in scaled transistors of an integrated circuit (IC).

The preamble sending method includes sending a preamble containing two or more code pattern sequences, where the two or more code pattern sequences comprise a first code pattern sequence and a second code pattern sequence. That is, by enabling the preamble to support different code pattern sequences, the rapid transmission of the preamble is implemented by using functions corresponding to the different code pattern sequences, and thus the rapid equalization convergence can be performed after the rate of a passive optical network is improved, thereby improving the transmission efficiency and decreasing the processing delay. Through the preceding technical solutions, the problems in the related art that equalization time is long, transmission efficiency is reduced and processing delay is increased due to the fact that a preamble is not conducive to the convergence of an equalizer are solved.

A checkpoint round is designed without waiting for transaction execution results of all nodes in each consensus round so as to reduce the impact of transaction execution on consensus and improve consensus stability. Only the consistency of the newly created block is verified to avoid wasting memory resources and computing resources. The checkpoint round can be customized to improve the scalability of consensus algorithms.
