  • Patent number: 7128588
Abstract: An electrical connector (100) adapted for mating with a complementary connector (6), includes an insulative housing (1) defining a number of channels (12) and grooves (15), a number of terminals (2) received in the channels, a pair of locking/unlocking means (3) retained in the grooves, a latch cooperating with locking/unlocking means for engaging/disengaging with the complementary connector and a metal shell (5). The locking/unlocking means includes a spring (32), a moveable member (30) defining a guiding slot (300) and a guiding pole (31) slidable in the guiding slot by exerting twice push operations, the complementary connector can be engaged with and disengaged from the connector due to displacement of the guiding pole in the guiding slot.

  • Publication number: 20060126282
Abstract: A hinge assembly (100) for use in a flat display monitor (120) includes a base seat (10), a pivotal shaft (20) and a plurality of washers (30, 40, 50, 60, 70). The base seat includes a first end portion (12) and a second portion (14), which are substantially perpendicular to each other. The first end portion has a retaining hole (122) therein. A protrusion (124) of the first end portion extends into the retaining hole. The pivotal shaft includes a pivotal portion (24). The pivotal portion has at least one flat surface (242) pivotally engaging with the protrusion. The pivotal shaft passes through the retaining hole of the base seat and the plurality of washers, allowing the elements of the hinge assembly to be fastened together.

  • Patent number: 6905254
Abstract: An optical fiber connector (3) includes an insert body (31), a door (33), a housing (35), a spring member (36) an optical element (37) and a spacer (39). The door includes a protuberance (332) and defines a through hole (331) for receiving a shaft (34). The shaft is held between the insert body and the housing. The door can rotate inwardly into an inserting hole (351) defined by the housing when a fiber plug (4) is inserted the inserting hole. When the fiber plug is pulled out from the housing, the door is rotated to cover the inlet side of the inserting hole due to a spring force applied by the spring member against the door.
