    Abstract: A dual-voltage secure digital (SD) card can be inserted into a legacy host or a newer host. Legacy hosts drive a high voltage such as 3.3 volts onto the power line of the SD bus, while newer hosts drive the power line with a reduced voltage such as 1.8 volts. A flash and voltage controller chip on the SD card has a controller core that operates at the reduced voltage. A voltage regulator on the SD card, or a power management unit inside the controller chip generates an internal power voltage of 1.8 volts from the dual-voltage SD bus power line. The internal power voltage is applied to the controller core and to a voltage converter that generates a flash power voltage from the internal power voltage. The flash power voltage is applied to flash-memory chips on the SD card that operate at the higher voltage.

    Abstract: The techniques for authenticating executable code employs keys (609) to modify the code (611). In static watermarking, the code is watermarked by using the key to determine positions in the executable code that will specify digits of a watermark value (607). Instructions are inserted at those positions as required to express the value. The inserted instructions do not affect the outputs from the code when the code is executed. The watermarked code is authenticated by using the key (609) to read the value and determining whether it is the proper value for that code. In dynamic watermarking, the code is watermarked using the key (607) to modify the program to produce execution state for an execution of the code that has properties that are determined by the key. Authentication is done by executing the code and comparing (621) the execution state that would have been produced if the program had been watermarked with the key.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for transcoding a video sequence in a discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain, wherein a transcoder receives a video bit-stream including frames and each of the frames including blocks. The video bit-stream includes an intra-frame and an inter-frame that has been encoded by motion compensation based on the intra-frame or another inter-frame. A DCT-domain motion compensation module in the transcoder re-calculates first DCT coefficients for a target block in the inter-frame. For this re-calculation of the first DCT coefficients, the motion compensation module inputs second DCT coefficients of neighboring blocks in the inter-frame, and calculates partial DCT coefficients, using significant ones of the second DCT coefficients of the neighboring blocks.

The entity identifier contained in the SAML request or assertion is looked-up in the partner list of the particular entity which received the SAML request or assertion. A record containing a matching entity identifier provides the applicable account mapping, attribute mapping, site attribute list, and/or action mapping.

We form a NFET S/D epitaxial Si layer over the NFET SDE regions and a PFET S/D epitaxial Si layer over PFET embedded source/drain stressor. The epitaxial Si layer over PFET embedded source/drain stressor is consumed in a subsequent salicide step to form a stable and low resistivity silicide over the PFET embedded source/drain stressor.
