Abstract: An ablation catheter comprises: an elongated catheter body extending longitudinally between a proximal end and a distal end along a longitudinal axis; a distal member disposed adjacent the distal end, the distal member including an ablation element to ablate a biological member; one or more acoustic transducers disposed in the distal member and each configured to direct an acoustic signal toward a respective target ablation region and receive reflection echoes therefrom; and an acoustic redirection member disposed in the distal member to at least partially redirect the acoustic signal from at least one of the acoustic transducers toward a tissue target. The distal member includes a most-distal portion, a proximal portion, and a deflectable portion between the most-distal portion and proximal portion to permit deflection between the most-distal portion and proximal portion of the distal member. The transducers and redirection member are mounted on opposite sides of the deflectable portion.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques are provided for operating a display and/or an illumination source based upon the direction of a user's gaze and/or a desired illumination level in a monitored area. One or more elements may be controlled with sensor input and application lighting preferences. For example, when a user receives a video call, light may be activated to illuminate their face. When the user is looking at the display, the display will be at the brightness necessary for the lighting conditions. When the user looks away from the screen, the screen may dim further and the lighting elements for the desk can brighten. Similarly, embodiments may adjust the lighting in a monitored location based upon lighting levels identified in other areas.

Abstract: A low power sound recognition sensor is configured to receive an analog signal that may contain a signature sound. Sound parameter information is extracted from the analog signal and compared to a sound parameter reference stored locally with the sound recognition sensor to detect when the signature sound is received in the analog signal. A trigger signal is generated when a signature sound is detected. A portion of the extracted sound parameter information is sent to a remote training location for adaptive training when a signature sound detection error occurs. An updated sound parameter reference from the remote training location is received in response to the adaptive training.

Abstract: A server rack includes a plurality of servers received therein. The server rack includes a delivery mechanism, a plurality of main fan groups and a backup fan group for cooling the servers. Each main fan group and the backup fan group both include one or more cooling fans. The delivery mechanism carries the backup fan group and to drive the backup fan group to move within the server rack. When a main fan group is malfunctioned, the backup fan group is moved to a location corresponding to a location of the malfunctioned main fan group to replace the malfunctioned group to cool one or more corresponding servers.

Abstract: To contribute to the improvement of catalytic activity of a lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst, which converts a lower hydrocarbon(s) to an aromatic compound(s), and to the improvement of compactability of the catalyst. The lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst is obtained by compacting a mixture obtained by mixing a metallosilicate supporting thereon a catalyst metal and having a large grain size with a metallosilicate supporting thereon a catalyst metal and having a small grain size. As the metallosilicate having a large grain size, one having a grain size of from 1.0 ?m to 5.0 ?m is used. As the metallosilicate having a small grain size, one having a grain size of from 0.1 ?m to 1.0 ?m is used. The percentage of the metallosilicate having a large grain size is adjusted to from 20% to 80%, relative to mass of the lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst.

Abstract: The present invention facilitates handoffs for a mobile terminal in a wireless access network that is capable of supporting different types of handoffs. The different handoff types may include soft handoffs and fast base station switching (FBSS). In operation, context information associated with supporting wireless communications between the wireless access network and the mobile terminal are determined. Based on whether the context information is shared between base stations involved in the handoff or transferred from one base station to another of the base stations involved in the handoff, a particular handoff type is selected from the different handoff types that are available. Selecting the specific type of handoff to use may also be based on the level of context information that is available, the actual content of the context information, application preferences, channel conditions, base station or mobile terminal capabilities, or any combination thereof.

The method includes: within a transmission time interval (TTI), transmitting a first pilot signal (CPICH1) on a first antenna, and transmitting a second pilot signal (CPICH2) on a second antenna; when no first-type terminal is scheduled within coverage of a MIMO system within the TTI, transmitting a third pilot signal (CPICH3) on a third antenna, and transmitting a fourth pilot signal (CPICH4) on a fourth antenna; and when a first-type terminal is scheduled within the coverage of the MIMO system within the TTI, transmitting the CPICH3 and a fifth pilot signal (CPICH5) on the third antenna, and transmitting the CPICH4 and a sixth pilot signal (CPICH6) on the fourth antenna. By using the method, interference of a pilot signal to a legacy terminal can be greatly reduced.

Abstract: A toy gun in the form of a breech loading rifle is provided which is capable of firing a projectile such as a dart as well as simultaneously or near simultaneously emitting smoke from the muzzle of a barrel of the gun after the dart has been discharged from the muzzle. The toy gun has first and second rechargeable air pumps. A first one of the air pumps automatically discharges stored air into a breech part of the barrel in order to propel a loaded projectile from the gun's barrel. A second one of the air pumps expels stored air through a flow restriction device which doubles up as a pressure switch for actuating a smoke generator located adjacent to the muzzle of the gun. The second air pump also provides a low flow rate of air through the smoke generator to expel smoke from the smoke generator. The second air pump expels stored air much more slowly than the first air pump. The first and second air pumps are simultaneously triggered to release stored air by user actuation of a trigger of the gun.

Abstract: Provided is a non-invasive prenatal testing method based on whole-genome tendency scoring and adapted to test whether a pregnant woman's fetus has autosomal aneuploidy. The method includes: creating a database of mk values which equal the averages of length proportions of health persons' chromosome k; obtaining the pregnant woman's and her fetus' chromosomal data yk from the pregnant woman's plasma; obtaining p values by the ratio of the yk values to the mk values; and analyzing p values to determine whether the target chromosome has chromosome aneuploidy. The comparable data is increased and thus test accuracy is enhanced by comparing the p values and the p values in a database. Due to an abundance of comparable data, the method of the present invention is accurate even when performed in the first trimester, such that pregnant women can know as soon as possible whether their fetuses' chromosomes are normal.
