  • Publication number: 20120096357
Abstract: A method and system for media selection and sharing is disclosed. According to one embodiment, media content is received from a media source and is stored in a buffer for a first time period. A second time period within the first time period is determined for creating a media clip from the media content stored in the buffer. A media clip is generated as determined by the second time period. A user provides an input, and the user's input is associated with the media clip to take one or more effects on the media clip. The media clip enhanced with the one more effects is transmitted over a network to share with other users.

Abstract: Novel gaming networks, devices, and systems for enabling game play on wireless, mobile gaming devices based on the location of the device are described. A mobile gaming device can be used for wagering game play when the device is physically present in an authorized game play zone in a gaming environment and is used by an authorized and verified user. A gaming environment is divided into zones wherein a zone either allows wagering game play on a device or does not. A zone has multiple transmitters that transmit security signals that are detectable by a mobile device at all times while the device is in the zone. An appropriate wireless communication standard can be used to transmit the security signal, such as near-field magnetic communication. • Patent number: 8159255
Abstract: Quiescent supply current (IDDQ) verification, prediction, and debugging of low power semiconductor devices are enhanced by IDDQ defect diagnosis. If all IDDQ patterns fail verification, per module analysis is performed to sort out potential module design issues or cell constraint issues. For issues of missing constraints, and cell design or implementation issues leading to extra leakage that could be avoided by adding constraints, there are usually IDDQ patterns that correlate with expectations, and patterns that do not, due to the random nature of unconstrained scan cell values as determined by the pattern generation tool. Differentiating good and bad IDDQ patterns can identify root causes of IDDQ issues and additional constraints to fix the bad IDDQ vectors. These verification procedures are achieving IDDQ test success and short time to market, as well as significantly faster time to volume and improved yields because of having a higher quality and better-controlled IDDQ test.

  • Patent number: 8158051
Abstract: An intermediate sealing element and method for unsealing a vacuum membrane from one tool surface and transferring it to another tool surface without damaging the vacuum membrane. The intermediate sealing element forms a continuous path around the periphery of a vacuum membrane and is sealed directly to one or more vacuum membranes and a tool surface using any means known in the art to create an airtight seal between two surfaces. The intermediate sealing element is able to withstand high temperatures and high pressure without altering its structural characteristics. Because of its durability, the intermediate sealing element can be removed from the tool surface without tearing or elongating, subsequently allowing the vacuum membranes to be detached from the tool surface without tearing or elongating.
