Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle aerial vehicle and a localization method for an unmanned aerial vehicle aerial vehicle are described. In an embodiment, an unmanned aerial vehicle comprises: a first ultra-wide band node; a second ultra-wide band node; and a localization processor configured to use signals received at the first ultra-wide band node and the second ultra-wide band node from a plurality of anchor nodes located within an environment to estimate a pose state of the unmanned aerial vehicle, wherein the first ultra-wide band node and the second ultra-wide band node are arranged on the unmanned aerial vehicle at positions offset from one another.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided. The method includes determining whether a rejection of a request is required and determining whether the request is software forward progress (SFP)-likely or SFP-unlikely upon determining that the rejection of the request is required. The method also includes executing a first pseudo random decision to set or not set a requested state of the request in an event the request is SFP-likely or SFP-unlikely, respectively, and rejecting the request following execution of the second pseudo random decision.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system, method, and computer readable medium for providing information to a receiving party in a communications network. The method includes receiving a message from a sending party and performing a lookup of information relating to the sending party in a database via an Internet Protocol connection. The lookup is based on an identifier of at least one of the sending party and the receiving party. Subsequently, the information is provided to the receiving party based on the availability of the information in the database.

Abstract: A primary controller has authority of a cache line associated with a fetch and manages a second cache line request from a different and non-associated secondary requesting entity. A secondary controller, associated with the secondary requesting entity, is granted authority of the cache line and further manages multiple subsequent simultaneous or overlapping requests for the cache line from different non-associated subsequent requesting entities by maintaining authority of the cache line, by granting read-only access to the cache line to respective subsequent controllers, each associated with a different subsequent requesting entity, and by passing a non-authority token to each of the respective subsequent controllers.

Abstract: An assembly includes an insertion device and a suture delivery device. The insertion device includes a longitudinal guide member extending from a proximal end to a distal tip. The tip includes an abutting structure movable between insertion and open positions. The structure is sized and shaped to contact tissue surrounding the tissue opening into which the insertion device has been inserted to maintain a desired position of the insertion device within the opening. The delivery device includes a body and a tube. The tube extends along a curved path configured so that, as the tube is rotated about the member, the tube penetrates tissue surrounding the opening into which the member has been inserted. A distal extension of the tube is configured so that, when the tube has been advanced distally to a distal-most position on the member, a distal end of the tube is proximal of the structure.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media utilized for event-based authentication. One method includes recognizing an event and receiving, from a device, a withdrawal request of a user, wherein the withdrawal request includes a captured feature by the device. The method further includes determining that the user is associated with the recognized event using at least a geographic proximity between the event and the withdrawal request, wherein the geographic proximity is a given radius around a location of the event, and wherein the device is within the given radius and adjusting authentication rules based on the determination that the user is associated with the recognized event, wherein the adjustment of the authentication rules includes adjusting a matching threshold between the captured feature and a reference feature. The method further includes processing the withdrawal request for the user based on the adjusted authentication rules.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer storage media, for retransmission of sidelink transmissions using network coding with binned feedback. A transmitting device transmits a transport block and a request for a network coding (NC) encoding device to retransmit the transport block to a plurality of user equipment (UEs). The UEs decode the transport block and report an acknowledgment (ACK) or negative acknowledgment (NACK) on a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource associated with a bin for the UEs. The NC encoding device decodes the PSFCH resource for each bin to determine an ACK or NACK status for each bin, and determines whether to encode the transport block in a NC combination packet. The UEs receive the NC combination packet including an encoding of a subset of transport blocks. The receiving devices transmit an ACK or NACK on a PSFCH resource for a bin for each transport block.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may provide a framework to implement an omnichannel relevance analysis system. In response to a request to obtain an omnichannel relevance for a product, the system identifies a set of relevancy attributes and domain priorities and obtains product data sets associated with a set of platforms through which the product is made available. Using these product data sets, the system generates an omnichannel relevance index to indicate a position of the product in relation to sets of other products made available within the set of platforms.

Abstract: An apparatus or an add-on module for a, in particular mobile, device, is disclosed. In an embodiment, the device to be localized or the add-on module uses a measuring unit to measure, via suitable sensors, a local electromagnetic field distribution generated by a given infrastructure. An instantaneous position of the add-on module or of the device equipped therewith is then determined by comparing the measured field distribution with a specified map. In order to facilitate tracking of the add-on module or of the device, the measured field distribution and/or the determined position can be sent via a wireless data connection to a server unit.

Abstract: The invention presents a system and a method for 3D human reconstruction using a compact kit of depth cameras. Instead of using complex and expensive devices as in traditional methods, the proposed system and method employs a simple, easy-to-install system to accurately collect the human body shape. The generated model is capable of moving thanks to a skeleton system simulating the human skeleton. The proposed system includes four blocks: Data Collection Block, Point Cloud Standardization Block, Human Digitization Block and Output Block. The proposed method includes five steps: Point Cloud Collecting, Point Cloud Filtering, Point Cloud Calibrating, Point Cloud Optimizing and 3D Human Model Generating.

Abstract: A magnetometry apparatus includes an array of magnetometer pixels. Each magnetometer pixel includes an electron spin defect body including a plurality of lattice point defects, and a microwave field transmitter operable to apply a microwave field to the electron spin defect body. The apparatus may also include an optical source configured to emit input light of a first wavelength that excites the plurality of lattice point defects of the electron spin defect bodies from a ground state to an excited state, and a photodetector arranged to receive photoluminescence of a second wavelength emitted from a first electron spin defect body of a first magnetometer pixel of the array of magnetometer pixels. The second wavelength is different from the first wavelength.

Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus, such as a carpet extractor, includes a base and a fluid recovery system for drawing dirty cleaning fluid from a surface to be cleaned. The fluid recovery system includes a suction nozzle in fluid communication with a recovery chamber. The suction nozzle is mounted to the base for vertical movement with respect to the base and is biased into contact with the surface to be cleaned.

The storage code development management tool receives indications based on an execution of an object code generated via execution of the script. The storage code development management tool modifies the source code routines based on the received indications.

According to one example, a wireless communication device can transmit a reservation signal to reserve one or more sidelink resources for use by another device, and receive a sidelink transmission from the other device on at least a portion of the one or more reserved sidelink resources. According to another example, a wireless communication device can detect a reservation signal from another device, where the reservation signal is configured to reserve one or more sidelink resources, and transmit a sidelink transmission on at least a portion of the one or more of the sidelink resources reserved by the other device. Abstract: Methods of encoding and decoding for video data are described for encoding or decoding multi-level significance maps. Distinct context sets may be used for encoding the significant-coefficient flags in different regions of the transform unit. In a fixed case, the regions are defined by coefficient group borders. In one example, the upper-left coefficient group is a first region and the other coefficient groups are a second region. In a dynamic case, the regions are defined by coefficient group borders, but the encoder and decoder dynamically determine in which region each coefficient group belongs. Coefficient groups may be assigned to one region or another based on, for example, whether their respective significant-coefficient-group flags were inferred or not.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine whether a peer-to-peer (P2P) communication is to be relayed based at least in part on a location of the UE and a range requirement associated with the P2P communication; and transmit the P2P communication, wherein the P2P communication includes an indication of whether the P2P communication is to be relayed. In some aspects, a UE may receive the P2P communication; determine whether to relay the P2P communication based at least in part on the indication and at least one of: a location of the UE, or a UE identifier, included in the P2P communication, that identifies the UE and is associated with a request for the UE to relay the P2P communication; and selectively relay the P2P communication based at least in part on determining whether to relay the P2P communication.

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from one or more additional UEs, one or more indicators corresponding to one or more resource reservations. Accordingly, the UE may transmit data, to a second UE, on a sidelink channel, with at least one resource reservation, of the one or more resource reservations, indicated within a control element transmitted with the data. Abstract: Systems and methods for registering arbitrary visual features for use as fiducial elements are disclosed. An example method includes aligning a geometric reference object and a visual feature and capturing an image of the reference object and feature. The method also includes identifying, in the image of the object and the visual feature, a set of at least four non-colinear feature points in the visual feature. The method also includes deriving, from the image, a coordinate system using the geometric object. The method also comprises providing a set of measures to each of the points in the set of at least four non-colinear feature points using the coordinate system. The measures can then be saved in a memory to represent the registered visual feature and serve as the basis for using the registered visual feature as a fiducial element.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for dynamically presenting at least one attentional element within a communication session. The system presents, to each of a number of participants within a communication session, a user interface (“UI”) for the communication session. The system receives a signal of an event associated with a first participant intending to communicate with a second participant, with the second participant not acknowledging the intended communication. The system determines, after a predefined period of time, that the intended communication from the first user has not been acknowledged by the second user and that the event has not yet terminated. The system then initiates an attentional element within the UI of the second participant, the attentional element being more pronounced than the notification.
