With the inverse normalized difference water index (iNDWI) and the maximum value composite (MVC) method for the remote sensing images, the present disclosure omits the troublesome step of separately extracting a river range for each image in the conventional method. In addition, the present disclosure quickly obtains the drying-up frequency by counting the total number of available images and the number of non-water images at the same pixel position, and yields a greater efficiency for extracting the river drying-up region and frequency.

A voltage rise detection point is determined by a partial voltage of a resistor during powering-on, while a voltage fall detection point is directly determined by a power supply voltage during powering-off. Such differentiation may achieve a significant separation between the voltage rise detection point and the voltage fall detection point, reducing the voltage fall detection point to near a threshold voltage of the first NMOS transistor, and meeting the demand for a lower voltage fall detection point, which is consistent with a practical application of the power-on-reset circuit in an MCU.

After the primary user sets up a collaborative session on their virtual desktop, if a sensitive application opens in the virtual desktop during the collaborative session, the sharing of the desktop graphical user interface (GUI) can be stopped and the user can be prompted (e.g., via a warning dialog that pops up) to choose how to proceed. For example, the user can choose to hide the entire desktop, to minimize or close the sensitive application, or to continue sharing the desktop but pop-out the sensitive application from the remote desktop in a separate window that is not shared with the collaborators.
