Abstract: The present teaching relates to surgical procedure assistance. In one example, a first image of a patient captured prior to a surgical procedure is received. A treatment plan is generated based on the first image. The treatment plan includes information related to one or more surgical instruments. A second image of the patient captured after the surgical procedure has been initiated is received. The treatment plan is dynamically adjusted based on a pose of any of the one or more surgical instruments identified from the second image. A third image of the patient captured after a lesion is treated by at least one of the surgical instruments based on the adjusted treatment plan is received. Whether a further treatment to the lesion is needed is determined based on the third image. Upon determining a further treatment is needed, an updated treatment plan is dynamically generated based on the third image.

Abstract: A transient electronic device includes electronic elements (e.g., an SOI- or chip-based IC) and a trigger mechanism disposed on a frangible glass substrate. The trigger mechanism includes a switch that initiates a large trigger current through a self-limiting resistive element in response to a received trigger signal. The self-limiting resistive element includes a resistor portion that generates heat in response to the trigger current, thereby rapidly increasing the temperature of a localized (small) region of the frangible glass substrate, and a current limiting portion (e.g., a fuse) that self-limits (terminates) the trigger current after a predetermined amount of time, causing the localized region to rapidly cool down.

When the interface circuitry receives a sticker recommendation request from a terminal, the processing circuitry determines a historical sticker set that includes a sticker previously sent by a user of the terminal device, and at least one recommendable sticker set not including the historical sticker set. Then the processing circuitry determines a recommendation index for each of the at least one recommendable sticker set according to an emotion feature of the historical sticker set and an emotion feature of the respective recommendable sticker set. According to the recommendation index for each of the at least one recommendable sticker set, the interface circuitry sends a sticker set recommendation for one or more of the at least one recommendable sticker set to the terminal device.

Abstract: Semiconductor packages with through bridge die connections and a method of manufacture therefor is disclosed. The semiconductor packages may house one or more electronic components as a system in a package (SiP) implementation. A bridge die, such as an embedded multi-die interconnect bridge (EMIB), may be embedded within one or more build-up layers of the semiconductor package. The bridge die may have an electrically conductive bulk that may be electrically connected on a backside to a power plane and used to deliver power to one or more dies attached to the semiconductor package via interconnects formed on a topside of the bridge die that are electrically connected to the bulk of the bridge die. A more direct path for power delivery through the bridge die may be achieved compared to routing power around the bridge die.

The new layout may further contain data tags that enable optimal process correction to be performed on selected locations, leading to reduction in data size and mask complexity.
