The present disclosure provides a design route for a material by introducing a pyridoimidazole-type carbene into the ligand of a platinum complex. Since the carbene structure has suitable triplet energy and its carbon-platinum bond is more stable than the nitrogen-platinum bond, the entire spectrum can become narrower, which will promote development of blue luminescent material and improve performances of the devices.
