    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) bitmap information feedback method and a related device. The method includes: A terminal receives indication information from an access network device, where the indication information is used to determine whether HARQ feedback is needed for a transmit block transmitted in a plurality of downlink transmission units. The terminal determines HARQ bitmap information based on the indication information, where the HARQ bitmap information includes HARQ feedback information of at least one target transmission unit, and the target transmission unit indicates a downlink transmission unit that needs HARQ feedback in the plurality of downlink transmission units. The terminal sends the HARQ bitmap information to the access network device. Some embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce feedback resource overheads in an NTN scenario, reduce a communication delay, and improve a communication throughput rate.

    Abstract: This application provides a gateway handover method and an apparatus, to ensure the reliability of a gateway handover of a terminal device and reduce hardware overheads in a gateway handover process. The terminal device receives a synchronization signal/PBCH (physical broadcast channel) block (SSB) from a network device through a service link. The SSB includes an SSB of a source gateway and an SSB of at least one candidate target gateway. The terminal device obtains a measurement value of channel quality corresponding to the SSB of the at least one candidate target gateway, and sends a measurement result to the network device. The network device forwards the measurement result to the source gateway, which determines, based on the measurement result, whether to hand over the terminal device from the source gateway to one of the at least one candidate target gateway.

Therefore, regardless of a quantity of to-be-scheduled terminal devices in a communication system, the network device may reuse the scheduling model without re-establishing a scheduling model, so that the scheduling model is expandable and applicable to scenarios in which quantities of to-be-scheduled terminal devices are different.
