Abstract: In a method of error recovery when downloading data files using an application server, the application server connects to at least one terminal device and several file servers. The application server receives a file downloading request from the terminal device, finds a first file server nearest to the terminal device, and downloads the required data file from the first file server to the terminal device. The application server searches a file configuration table to find a second file server which is away from the first file server when the data file has not been successfully downloaded from the first file server, downloads the required data file from the second file server to the terminal device, and synchronizes the data file of the second file server to recovery the data file of the first file server when the data file has been successfully downloaded from the second file server.

Abstract: A computer searches for a data list from a database and assigns data of a data field of the data list to a graphical user interface (GUI) widget in the webpage. The computer searches for a permission control list from the database and parses configuration information of the permission control list. The computer assigns the data of the one or more data fields of the data list to the configuration information of the permission control list, and amends a status of each GUI widget corresponding to the configuration information.

Abstract: A computer reads a patent application file from a database connected to the computer, and inserts content of the patent application file into a first file format. The computer converts the content of the patent application file in the first file format using a language converting API, and inserts the converted content from the first file format into a second file format. The computer replaces error words with correct words corresponding to the error words, in response to a determination that the converted content in the second file format comprises error words.

Abstract: A server stores a plurality of initial files and parameters of the initial files. When a user inputs contents of the initial files to the server, the server obtains a template for each initial file. The server searches for contents of all columns in each template from the parameters and the input contents. The searched contents are put in the columns of each template. The templates with the put contents are generated to object files corresponding to the initial files.

Abstract: In a method for generating sequence indexes for data files of a computing device, index information of a data file is received from an input device of the computing device. The last index of a data index list stored in a database of a storage device is established, and an m-digits number is generated according to the storage capacity of the database. The m-digits number of the last index is calculated to obtain a sequence number, and a sequence index of the data file is generated according to the sequence number of the last index and the index information of the data file. The sequence index of the data file is inserted into the last position of the data index list, and the data index list is saved into the database of the storage device.

Abstract: A server calculates a first coefficient according to a degree of difficulty, a degree of urgency, a degree of importance of a task, and calculates an employee scope according to the first coefficient. The server selects a second list from the first list according to the employee scope, and calculates a second coefficient according to a required time and a prescribed time limit for finishing the task. The server selects a third list from the second list according to a workload of each employee in the second list and the second coefficient, and selects an employee from the third list to handle the task and notifies the employee.

Abstract: A server generates a first ID in response to a user inputting a username on a web portal provided by the server. If the user selects a link page displayed through the web portal, the server generates a second ID and sends the first ID and the second ID to the selected link page. The server detects if the user can access the selected link page by reference to the first ID and the second ID. If the server verifies the information successfully, the link page may be entered using the portal information.

Abstract: A method for comparing text data reads two patent documents comprising varying text sections. The method compares characters of a first text section in a first patent document with a corresponding second text section in a second patent document, and acquires a same sub-character string that has a maximum matching length and matching positions of the first and second text sections. The method marks characters before the matching positions of the first and second text sections as different characters. The method displays a comparison result list of the comparison between the first patent document and the second patent document on a display device.

Abstract: In a method for analyzing an office action of a patent application using a computing device, an office action of a patent application that is downloaded from a patent office website is parsed using predetermined regular expressions (RE). The patent information of patent application is extracted from the office action according to predetermined keywords of the patent information if the office action fails to be parsed by the regular expressions. A regular expression of the extracted patent information is generated according to determined rules, and is stored into the storage system, to parse another office action using the generated regular expression.
