Abstract: An integrated circuit device having a vertical connection interfaces for coupling stacked components are provided that improve communication between the stacked components. The techniques described herein allow for increased signal connection density while reducing potential for crosstalk. For example, a ground to signal ratio of connections between components in a vertical interface configured to carry ground signals relative to connections configured to carry data signals within a bank of connections has an edge to center gradient which reduces the amount of ground connections needed to meet crosstalk thresholds, while increasing the amount of signal connections available for communication between components across the vertical interface.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods are described for estimating a position of a loudspeaker and notifying a listener if an abnormal condition is detected, such as an incorrect loudspeaker orientation or an obstruction in a path between the loudspeaker and a microphone array. For example, a front component of a multi-channel surround sound system may include the microphone array and a position estimation engine. The position estimation engine may estimate the distance between the loudspeaker and the microphone array. In addition, the position estimation engine may estimate an angle of the loudspeaker using a first technique. The position estimation engine may also estimate an angle of the loudspeaker using a second technique. The two angles can be processed to determine whether the abnormal condition exists. If the abnormal condition exists, a listener can be notified and be provided with suggestions for resolving the issue in a graphical user interface.

The fuel pressure pulsation damping device includes a housing having an inlet pipe, an outlet pipe and an intermediate pipe; and a rotatory impeller positioned in the intermediate pipe.

Abstract: A method of reducing corner rounding during patterning of a substrate to form a prescribed pattern comprising a corner includes dividing the pattern into a first pattern and a second pattern, the first pattern forming a first edge of the corner and the second pattern forming a second edge of the corner. At least a portion of the second pattern overlaps the first pattern such that the first edge intersects with the second edge to form a corner of the prescribed pattern. The method further includes forming the first pattern in a first mask layer disposed on a substrate to expose the substrate and forming the second pattern in the first mask layer to expose the substrate. The substrate exposed through the first mask layer is then etched to obtain the pattern.

A transaction capability table records a first value representing practical transaction capability of a source module for transmitting a communication transaction to a destination module. Exchange of transaction capability regarding the destination module between the source module and at least one neighboring source module is taken into account in the first value. The source control logic circuit manages the transaction capability table and controls the source module to transmit a communication transaction to the destination module based on the first value recorded in the transaction capability table.

A set of parameters is determined from the dataset, comprising at least a sample performance trajectory, a risk factor, and a performance outcome. A maximum likelihood of each performance outcome is determined using a likelihood function, the likelihood function being a mixture model of a trajectory model and an outcome model. The set of parameters is updated according to the maximum likelihood of each performance outcome. A performance trajectory model is built according to the updated set of parameters. The plurality of applications is then grouped into subgroups according to the performance trajectory model, each subgroup containing one or more applications, and each of the one or more applications in a given subgroup having a same or similar trajectory to each other. An alert associated with the applications in at least one of subgroups may be generated.

The NAND string extends vertically through the alternating conductor/dielectric stack. The source conductor layer is above the alternating conductor/dielectric stack and is in contact with an end of the NAND string. The source contact includes an end in contact with the source conductor layer. The NAND string is electrically connected to the source contact by the source conductor layer. In some embodiments, the source conductor layer includes one or more conduction regions each including one or more of a metal, a metal alloy, and a metal silicide.

Abstract: The invention discloses a method for adsorbing ethylene gas using amorphous granular starch. The method firstly prepares amorphous granular starch, wherein starch slurry is prepared from starch with a ethanol aqueous solution and NaOH solution is added dropwise so as to react at 30 to 35° C. for 20 to 50 minutes; Then the slurry is centrifuged, neutralized with an ethanol hydrochloride solution, washed and dried to obtain the amorphous granular starch. The amorphous granular starch is placed in a high-pressure reactor and ethylene gas is introduced after the reactor is vacuumized to react at 0.8 to 1.5 Mpa and 20 to 30° C. for 15 to 25 h so that starch powder product adsorbing with ethylene is obtained. The test result shows that the content of ethylene in the obtained product can reach more than 30%. The method is simple, highly efficient and cheap for the adsorption process of ethylene, and the product is expected to be widely applied in the field of fruit and vegetable modified atmosphere preservation.

The relationship graph has nodes representing member profiles, as well as other entities maintained in the on-line social network system. The edges of the relationship graph represent relationships between entities represented by the associated nodes. For each member profile representing a potential recipient of the notification, the near real time notifications distribution system generates a relevance score, which is used to determine whether the notification is to be delivered to the potential recipient.
