  • Publication number: 20200198230
Abstract: A method of performing powder bed fusion process is provided. A powder bed and a group of information of the powder bed are obtained. A powder bed simulation is performed to obtain a thickness of the powder bed and a packing density. Then, a group of parameters of a laser is obtained. A Ray Tracing simulation for the powder layer and a heat transfer simulation are performed. A first surrogate model is constructed to obtain first processing maps. The points in the first processing maps with the depths of the melt pool that are greater than a predetermined depth value and smaller than a laser beam radius are a first group of parameter values. A parameter setting operation is performed by using the first group of parameter values. A laser melting operation is performed, and a temperature distribution is measured by using an infrared thermal camera.

  • Patent number: 10691316
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed herein that enhance drawing technology in application user interfaces. In an implementation, a guide object is disclosed herein that allows a user to draw against the guide object, position other objects against, and otherwise interact with the guide object as-if it were a stencil. The guide object may be presented as a drawing tool in a user interface to an application that a user may invoke by user input to assist with the creation of content on a canvas. As a line is drawn proximate to the guide object, for example, or as a shape is positioned nearby the guide object, the application obtains guidance information from the guide object that allows the application to render the interaction between line or shape and the guide object as-if it were an actual stencil.

  • Publication number: 20200192630
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for tailoring composite graphical assistant interfaces for interacting with multiple different connected devices. The composite graphical assistant interfaces can be generated in response to a user providing a request for an automated assistant to cause a connected device to perform a particular function. In response to the automated assistant receiving the request, the automated assistant can identify other functions that the connected device is capable of performing. The other functions can then be mapped to various graphical control elements in order to provide a composite graphical assistant interface from which the user can interact with the connected device. Each graphical control element can be arranged according to a status of the connected device, in order to reflect how the connected device is operating simultaneous to the presentation of the composite graphical assistant interface.

  • Publication number: 20200190669
Abstract: Methods and systems for direct lithographic pattern definition based upon electron beam induced alteration of the surface chemistry of a substrate are described. The methods involve an initial chemical treatment for global definition of a specified surface chemistry (SC). Electron beam induced surface reactions between a gaseous precursor and the surface are then used to locally alter the SC. High resolution patterning of stable, specified surface chemistries upon a substrate can thus be achieved. The defined patterns can then be utilized for selective material deposition via methods which exploit the specificity of certain SC combinations or by differences in surface energy. It is possible to perform all steps in-situ without breaking vacuum.
