    Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for a set of central controllers that manages forwarding elements operating in a plurality of datacenters. The method receives a configuration for a bridge between (i) a logical L2 network that spans at least two datacenters and (ii) a physical L2 network. The method identifies multiple managed forwarding elements that implement the logical L2 network and are operating in the particular datacenter. The method selects one of the identified managed forwarding elements to implement the bridge. The method distributes bridge configuration data to the selected managed forwarding element.

    Abstract: A focus detection apparatus and a method thereof are provided. In the method, a medical image is obtained. Size of a target focus and a sliding window are determined, and side length of the sliding windows is at least twice the side length of the target focus. The medical image is scanned through the sliding window, and a stride which the sliding windows moves each time is not greater than the side length of the target focus. At least one area of interest is obtained based on the scan result. Then, the area of interest is identified based on machine learning techniques, and perform candidate aggregation and multiple size aggregation to determine at least one focus position. Accordingly, the computational time and the detection accuracy can be improved.

Disclosed herein are power combiner/splitters and methods to operate the same to reduce power loss when not all the ports are used. When an input/output port of a power combiner/splitter is unused or inactive, switches may be provided to cut off the port from the rest of the power combiner/splitter, which has programmable quarter-wave elements and resistors that are adjustable based on the number of remaining input/output ports that are active, such that in effect, the circuit operates similarly to a multi-way Wilkinson power combiner/splitter, and power loss due to inactive ports may be reduced or eliminated.
